@ZiggyStarPuff: If they want the locks immediately they have to do extensions, which make it harder to grow your hair out, which means you have to stick with the weave. It's kind of a vicious cycle.

@KiddyKat: I've seen that play out in other families, I can see it being the case here, too.

When they knocked me out for my wisdom teeth I'd never had general anesthesia before, and was really nervous about it. Good thing my entire memory consists of "hey I feel kind of dru—" before I was unconscious. When I woke up I had no idea any time had passed. That stuff is freaky.

@GTCosita: If you're not willing to pay for general anesthesia they give you local. I've had teeth pulled under local before and it really wasn't that bad, but they had to really smash my wisdom teeth to get them out, so I'm glad I shelled out the extra $600 for general.

@L Veg: I also had the hysterical crying thing when I came out of the anesthesia. The dental assistants assured me this was normal. They led me into a recovery room to lie down until I was ready to leave. My then-boyfriend (now husband) was waiting for me to take me home and the look on his face when he came into

@TypicalHipster: I, too, am a straight girl with a more "butch" sense of style and very short hair. I live in a neighborhood with a lot of lesbians and trust me, they can tell I'm straight. My husband thinks my hair is very sexy, it used to be a little but he begged me to cut it all off.

A couple of months ago I left my dog in the care of professional dog-sitters (she stayed in their home) for about a week. I called my vet to let them know about the arrangements and they had me put a credit card on file and give them a monetary limit in case I couldn't be contacted and my dog needed emergency

@DarlingGirl: It can be really difficult to judge when the animal's quality of life has deteriorated to the point where euthanasia is the best choice, especially if you're living with the animal. My parents kept our dog alive probably 6-12 months longer than they should have, just because he would have enough good

@sterlingsilver36: And there's no shortage of Judeo-Christian faiths which ban the cutting of any hair.

@sunshinesupergirl: The radiator is indeed in both photos, what the commenter was talking about was whatever is happening on the other side. It looks like some horizontal lines (tile? drawers?) were inserted into the second image even though there is no evidence of them in the first.

@AnatomyFightSong: But some 10-year-old girls can. The molesting priest thing isn't just male-on-male.

@catinthebox: A pregnancy is a serious, risky condition. It is more likely to cause death than taking birth control pills. A woman not using birth control is putting herself at risk of contracting a potentially fatal condition.

@rhubarbarin: The repeated procedures necessary to stretch her skin to fit the implants probably played a role in her getting a serious infection, since every time they cut you open your chances of infection go up.

@cypren: I have an 8xxx serial number and don't have any of the problems people are experiencing (reception, proximity sensor, etc).

@quickqueenof: I'm right there with you. I either resign myself to long jeans or cuff them when I don't have the money or energy to have them hemmed at my seamstress. I've decided to basically give up on pants that fit well in every proportion, and instead only care that they aren't outright uncomfortable.

@caesar: I think that depends on whether the external band was part of the original FCC filing, or if only the internal antennas were in it.

@Amy Schultz: YES. Totally. She is the very image of nearly every girl I played field hockey with. I have to assume she also listened to a lot of Grateful Dead, but maybe that was just my particular suburb.
