@mepo: Sooo . . . does he work in a cave or something?

@vamusical: Right. Not everybody survives these kinds of attacks. Being burned by fire or acid is excruciatingly painful and a slow way to die. Those who do survive often experience many months of agonizing recovery. Looks become a secondary concern, quality of life is ruined at a more fundamental level. We're talking

@Lizawithazee: Awesome. I was just thinking "Oh man, apples again? When do we get some meat around here?"

@braak: Right, like what Coach does. Four times a year I get an "invitation" in the mail and a phone call telling me that for a week I can get 25% off anything in the store. Just me, though, the sale "invite" is non-transferable. I took advantage of it at first, but now I've got too much crap and ignore the cards when

I had 100% completely pushed Contempo Casuals out of my memory, thanks for bringing it back. Gah.

@tscheese: I was just asking someone about this, I guess dog milk is more appropriate for large cats than domesticated kitty milk. I've seen a few stories lately about dogs of various breeds nursing abandoned big cats.

Oh man, my high school field hockey team would have been ALL OVER these. We were not very good, but boy were we mean.

@Alipaps: I got that from mom, too. Also, I wash ziploc baggies in the dishwasher and reuse them. Thanks, mom!

For the most part my mom is pretty awesome, and while we didn't exactly get along when I was a kid, having me go away to boarding school for high school helped our relationship A LOT. So, now that I'm all growed up the only thing I actively try to avoid of my mother's is her passive aggressive tendencies. I remind

@Jabbotage: So, I wasn't crying before, but I am now. So sorry about your cat!

@pinkyBella: When our former dog was about 8 years old he developed a cancerous tumor. My family spent about $10,000 for surgery and radiation treatment. It was a difficult recovery, but the good news is that he lived another happy 5 years before old age took its toll and we had him put down.

@info*ninja: Honestly I think it's because the lesbian community can be very rigid with gender roles. I'm friends with a lesbian couple that don't conform comfortably to gender roles and they get shit for it from their dyke friends, and have even lost some friends over it. I don't know any men who've had similar

@Eeva: Oh fuck me, now I need candy. I agree wholeheartedly with Our Gal Mindy, the sour candies are teh awesomeness. And now my mouth waters. The vending machine is broken, what will I do?

In most of the stories I read about these Sudanese child soldiers their families are killed either when they are taken or shortly after (some have even been forced to kill their families themselves). How heartwarming that this kid's family survived and they all lived to see each other again. *sniffle*

@velveteen: Damn, we just adopted a chow mix and were joking about giving it a faux-chinese name. Mei-Mei would have been perfect. We settled on Pocky, though.

@rocknrollunicorn: And if I didn't work so brutally far away in the suburbs I'd be right there with you. *sigh*

@sarrible: and *I* get fat on lobster. Ha!

@LoSpaz: God, me too! Between her and Suri it almost makes me want kids of my own. Almost. Obviously, boyfriend and I aren't exactly in the same gene pool as these folks, ifyaknowwhatimean.

@whats_in_a_name: See, that's the thing. He almost never has time alone or any real privacy (poor guy) He works longer hours than I do and while I have time alone at home without him, he rarely has time alone at home without me. So he knows when I masturbate, but I don't know when he does. I suspect he just
