This is far too small to take a kid to soccer practice. You’ll want an Expedition for that. These are for getting your mountain bike to the smooth gravel parking lot near your favorite park.

Tow points on a crossover, will the miracles never cease!

I work for a California government agency, and we had to start going into the office 2 days a week back in May. Now I’m back in the traffic, wasting 2 hours a day commuting. The stupid part is they’re ignoring the fact that a lot of us have ZERO reason to be in the office at all. I work in IT infrastructure

I’ve said for a long time that remote work is probably the most effective climate policy. If people only drive on the weekends that has a dramatic effect on gas demand, emissions, road wear, etc. Way simpler solution than trying to build an entire charging infrastructure. Not to mention for those people who have jobs

Even if you show them data that it’s decreasing, they’ll just say “well, Obama is just doing this temporarily to help get Kamala elected”.

Wait. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard every Trump voter I meet telling me that gas prices are at an all-time high, and the only way to get them back down again is if he’s back in office.

Sorry, but your “old fashioned whoopins” are not the answer, and are bad parenting. Not just my opinion. Not the forum to discuss it.

I am just impressed at the 244 comments on strictly a car related article. What a time to be alive.

That’s beside the point.  The car was purchased in California, that’s why it has a front license plate holder.  The author can remove it if his state doesn’t require one, but it was required where it was purchased.

California, where the car was bought, does require them.

ol’ ExpiredSeafood up there is the biggest Tesla shill here, it’s hardly worth the effort of interacting with him when it comes to Elon - those balls will be gargled to completion, no matter what.

Aapplaud you for finding a Red Car with not black interior. Took me months to find my red CX9 signature with white leather.

The problem is, Telsa still thinks of itself as the undisputed king of it’s niche, and is doing nothing to shore that position up. So they’ve still got terrible QA, and as a mass market manufacturer, you’re gonna have to refresh the style of your cars, match prices, match accessories and features. And you’re gonna

This front plate nonsense is definitely going to have to go. The fact that people put up with this horrifying visual on a daily basis is appalling.”

My favorite thing about the Ioniq 5 is that stylistically, it’s basically a master class in showing Tesla how to build something with sharp angles and retro styling that actually works and doesn’t suck.

That’s the actual top shot from their website. And still only, like, the 5th ugliest car that they make

Seems like the kid’s mom should have put some hard and fast limitations on her criminal son, so I’m pretty O.K. with the precedent getting stretched here.  It would have taken the huge step of, oh I don’t know, NOT leaving the keys to the Bimmer sitting on the kitchen counter when she left town.  Not much to ask when

Did you just ask Ai create an image of what a new electric BMW sedan should look like? or is that real?

I had to go look up what the hell a BMW i5 M60 is. Apparently I saw an image of it and scrubbed the entire existence of this car out of my mind. What the actual fuck, BMW?

I love the fact that the Fisker Ocean was running at the end of the competition and the Cybertruck was not.
