I don’t mean this in a snarky way, but anyone who thinks The Boy and the Heron deserved to win over Spider-verse should watch some videos talking about S-v, both the technical innovations and the depth of the story. What they created with S-v is really amazing.

Spider-Verse was better in just about every way. It was like a movie from the future. But voters probably didn’t even see either movie, and just voted for Miyazaki.
