hateful ideas like DEI.

So, this whole “Harley-Davidson is woke” thing happened because Harley realized it needed to bring more people into the brand. Harley’s typical customers are getting too old to ride. It’s bad for business if your customer base is shrinking with every year.

It’s weird to deliberately hitch your wagon to a dying species.

Not sure if I dislike the dimwits that pushed them for this or the spineless twits that capitulated to the dimwits more. I’d say HD lost a customer but their image already held zero appeal.

It’s kind of a crap brand and you pay a huge premium to have their logo on the side of a bike, so no big loss.

This is a perfect example of rare =/= interesting. This is just rich guy version of “my corvette is only one of 7 made in this color combo that year on a Wednesday in June” kind of rare. The Iamrich app kind of wasting cash. Rare, yes. And uninspired.

I would love a comparison deep dive about the risks of crashed and burning electric vehicles vs. ICE. Obviously, a regular semi fire isn’t exactly safe; there’s no way to set a big vehicle full of chemicals on fire in the middle of the road without SOMETHING bad happening. I guess the questions are:

Or what makes it different than a normal semi truck carrying 150 gallons of diesel fuel? Which for the record is also a hazardous material that releases toxic fumes when burned, and doesn’t even need to be mixed with water first for it to leach into the groundwater.

I’m really curious how this isn’t an OSHA issue. Because it definitely should be. It definitely should have been an OSHA issue a long time ago.

This must be that Project 2025 I keep hearing so much about, right?

Therein lies the problem. I want a touring/wagon. I do not want to spend extra on an M or AMG or RS of a “luxury” (read: $$$) brand.

That plan calls for sprinkling the waste over poor communities.

When bosses try to kill their employees, turning them in to deadly missiles on public highways, they should be criminally prosecuted. This should not be controversial.

The story behind these is also extremely cool and very Honda. Harley at the time was churning out garbage that was utterly uncompetitive compared to what Japan was shipping over, so they went crying to daddy Reagan for some kind of trade restrictions that would make them more competitive. After putting a law in place

Is the hood still so high that it provides zero visibility of anything within 20 feet of the front? It is still so high that it will absolutely obliterate any animal, person, or vehicle it happens to run into?  Cool, cool.

24 inch wheels? Good lord, can we stop already? This crap is why everyone is complaining that everything is more expensive these days. Probably $2K plus just to get a new set of tires, and crappy ones at that.

Did they wash out the blood of the Congolese or did they keep it ~Authentic~?

Yay wealthy white people!!

Jesus, even I know why this is inappropriate.

The long standing Pebble Beach tradition of cars owned by POS dictators lol. Leopold’s dad (II) was definitely worse due to the whole Congo genocide but Leopold III definitely was a piece of shit.
