Reading and commenting on a car enthusiast site doesn’t mean you support murderous test drives. Believe it or not, there are even gun enthusiasts who support background checks and think bump stocks should be illegal.

All of those are good, but the money must be spent well.

I like to imagine that this car was gently placed all the way up there on that curb with a crane.

You just described the Tesla business model.

I have the unfortunate current circumstances of living in a huge military town (Colorado Springs), and it is no exaggeration to say that every week I either see a little ‘d’ muscle car / pickup truck do something with complete contempt for humanity or read about the aftereffects of something similar in the newspaper.

Perhaps you haven’t read enough about the incident, but the police pulled him over for driving like a jackass, and let him go, telling him if he was caught driving again he’d be pulled over for DUI.

No she meant .25. The Detroit Local News also reported this amount. A quick google search states that at this point you’d most likely be passing out or close to it. If she’s an alcoholic she may have a tolerance to alcohol that would allow her to ‘function’ still.

I guess they want to live in a world where you can refuse a breathalyzer, field sobriety tests mean nothing, and the only way you’ll ever get punished for drunk driving is after you’ve plowed into the side of an SUV carrying a family of 4. That sounds reasonable.

I had no idea so many people here were pro-DUI.

Stop making these ridiculous cars! People can do stupid things in any car, but we don’t need to make it so damned easy.

It’s 16 miles of range, which is plenty for my needs. I bet at least 60 percent of my driving will be electric. I used to have a Nissan Leaf with 40 miles of range, and that did everything I needed a daily to do.

TBF, 10 mile EV range gets me to work and back.

Me too, because then we might get some fun street cars instead of the current crop of bloated expensive over powered nonsense that’s only good for bench racing.

Honestly, I’m OK with it.

So, I know this is a car site and all but, Who the fuck needs a car with 500 hp? Why is something like this available from the factory, for sale to normal idiots who have enough money to buy one but nothing else that says they’re capable of handling a car with this much power?

Or had allergies.”

the best part is even if/after they fix the headline, the url will remain  :)

I’ve always thought this was the best looking BMW. Shame about...everything else.

Depending on who wins — former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris — the world of EVs could look a lot different to start 2025.

Right now, Americans are spending an average of $47,000 on a new vehicle. That’s a lot of money. It could lead to cheaper offerings from overseas heading to our shores.”
