Mazda can do it. I don’t believe Porsche can’t.

Was there some confusion as the story was being written?

Soooo... make the engine smaller. Make it less fast. Focus on making the whole package smaller and more nimble. Give up the 2.7 second 0-60. I would bet that the overall size has a lot more to do with supporting a 500hp car than it does with regulations. You can’t have it all.

I don’t need extra space and I absolutely do complain about having it. The Miata has gained no inches and fewer than 100 pounds in 35 years. Make your choices, OEMs, but don’t blame regulations.

What the hell is going on? The last few days, if I scroll to where it says click to continue to read or try to go to the comments, I get send to an entirely different article. I have to scroll ever so slightly that the part I need to click on has to be at the very bottom of the page or else it will flip. This sucks.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but something very weird is going on with Kinja. (This is one of very few articles where I can make it to the comments.)

It’s not all about power and 0-60 times, it’s also about handling. Lighter vehicles are inherently more “tossable” in corners.

No it won’t. Republicans only care about “children” until they are born. Then they are on their own. He would have thought this child should have flown by it’s own bootstraps.

Don’t worry, he’ll see his couch and all will be ok again.

somethings up with the site. if i scroll down one line below where the show comments button is something from the root takes over and tells me about black actresses who could play kamala harris. 4 straight damn windows its done that.

I want to read the Maverick article but I keep getting autoloaded to a Root page. I can’t be the only one.

Here after 21 attempts to get to comments only to be directed to the root. WTF!

I keep getting redirected to TheRoot again.

I know people like to really rag on the C4 Corvette, but I also think that people seem to forget that the C4 pre-LT1 was considered a barn burner in it’s time. It was so quick in SCCA showroom stock that it was temporarily banned and the constant banning and rule changes across various clubs in the United States

Autopilot is just a lane-keeping assist (LKA) with cruise control. My wife drives a 2023 Model Y and I have a Hyundai Santa Cruz. My Hyundai also has LKA. If you want the Tesla to drive for you, you’d have to upgrade to either “Enhanced Autopilot” or “Full Self-Driving.”

Who said that removing lidar and radar from the car was a bad idea when tesla did it?

For those that don’t know, T-Pain had to go online and call out the shop owner George Grob of GMG Automotive and ask him why he’s been a shady douchebag and just sitting on his car.

Not long after mugshots were posted from his youth, as apparently he hadn’t changed his scumbag ways since he was a kid. Thankfully his

Just a point of clarification / definition from the comments: a venture capital firm invests in early-stage, risky “startups”... moon shots that will probably fail, but could change humanity (at least, that’s the purest and most generous definition).

Another bunch of greedy assholes ruin a company. Anyone else as sick of VC and hedge funds ruining great companies as I am?  Fucking VC. ARRRGGGH

Spinning it off and selling to Ferrari would be the best option for the brand for a few reasons.
