We were assigned sections with the schedule already worked out ahead of time. Everyone in the section took the same classes, in the same class room, for the entire first year. If someone switches in the first week of school, it's usually out of the day program and into the night one.

We talked about the OJ Simpson acquittal for about 5 minutes after the verdict was read in Crim Law that day, and then went back to whatever 19th century case on assault was assigned.

Usually that happens later in the semester when you thought you figured out the instructor and figured you were safe from being called on and you made a terrible terrible mistake by watching Buffy instead of reading your property homework. Or was that just me?

I used to study for Evidence by watching Law and Order reruns. Just for the fact set up, not their actual interpretation of the law.
