Hell yeah

One question if you happen to see this: will you be able to continue writing about your FFXIV journey somewhere or will I just have to keep an eye on Twitter? I’ve thoroughly enjoyed seeing your reactions to everything.

I have no idea how DLC could even work for Outer Wilds (new solar system?) but I’m very down. Also really looking forward to Solar Ash and Stray at the very least.

Bummer there’s no middle ground between “you can choose your own SSD but it has to fit our very specific specs and you’ll need to open up part of your console to install” and “you can only buy our SSD but it just plugs in real quick”

The way you actually get the Inazuma feels like peak Genshin - after months of slow build, learning that the nation has been closed off both legally and physically, you finally find a ship and captain willing to smuggle you in through the massive, omnipresent thunderstorm surrounding the nation. You board the ship and

Well sure, I don’t think anyone is like “yes, I love that they locked a piece of the experience behind a separate toy!” The point here is that people seem *particularly* mad about this *particular* amiibo based largely on some incorrect assumptions about its usefulness. It sucks in the same way that all amiibo-locked

For real - of all the annoyances in the original game, the bird statues were not one of them. There’s tons of those things! The only scenario this amiibo would be genuinely useful for is returning straight from a dungeon, but the game is literally designed around the assumption you can’t do that, so it’s fine.

If it was any other type of game I’d agree, but for an MMO thats been going for like 8 years (since the “reboot”) that opening slowness is only like 1/5-1/4 of the existing content. I guess what I’m trying to say is that if you’re committed to seeing the story though to its current stoping point it’s going to be a big

I do think it’d be extremely weird to purposefully use purple and orange for 1 and 2 across all the anniversary artwork, including the logo itself, if they were just going to turn around and use one of them again for 6. Hopefully we’ll find out soon, as much as I loved 5 I’m ready to hang out with a new group of

They’ve given purple and orange to 1 and 2 (and pink to the female protagonist of 3 specifically, for some reason) so green seems like the most obvious remaining color. Just going with my gut here, I don’t think white/black/silver/etc really fit the vibe of modern Persona, at least not while green is still unused.

My major takeaway from this is that Persona 6 will almost definitely be green. My favorite color!

Not surprising, you’d have to be the worst writer in the world to come up with something that Sam Richardson couldn’t save.

Wait an hour for the cops to show up only to have them basically just take a few notes, shrug, and never resolve anything?

Hard to think of a more damning condemnation of just how annoying Wii-era Nintendo game design was. I appreciate their attempt at accessibility but things like this really only made games harder to play (or at least more frustrating).

You’re misunderstanding, we’re talking about PS5 games not being able to directly read Ps4 saves. You’re talking about Ps4 games reading Ps4 saves on a PS5.

Right, “Ps5 games seem to not be able to read PS4 saves directly.” Backwards compatibility wouldn’t work if the system couldn’t read the saves.

That actually makes a lot of sense, and it suggests Sony could implement something similar if they wanted to. Wouldn’t be the first time they just chose not to add a useful feature for no good reason (usually, “we didn’t think many people would use that”).

The PS5 save file thing is interesting to me. I’m not sure if there’s been any official confirmation on this but it seems the PS5 has no way of natively converting Ps4 saves to Ps5 saves, and Ps5 games seem to not be able to read PS4 saves directly without some conversion. So while moving the PS4 saves over to the PS5

Yeah the the PS4 version already had near-Ps5 loading speeds somehow. Is the PS5 version just going to be instant? That would be dope.
