It’s completely baffling to me how they keep messing these up in some way or another, this should have been an easy slam dunk. It’s gotta be on purpose at this point, who could look at that font/spacing and think “yep, looks good, no notes”

I don’t disagree on principle, but I think the idea that the writers present their opinions as fact is more of a perspective thing than anything else. Personally I read everything here as an opinion piece, which is what drew me to the site in the first place, and I respect all of them for standing firm on their views,…
I mean, you’re replying to me and I’ve gone out of my way to try and be patient, polite, and clear in my writing, but you’ve largely just ignored my main points here and refused to explain what you actually mean. I’m not really sure what to say at this point so, good bye, I guess.
I see what you’re saying, but it’s important to remember that US politics are skewed far to the right compared most of the rest of the world. Here’s a quick article on it if you’re unfamiliar:
“What you and the author, in my opinion, are really trying to say is that you want Kotaku to be a far-left progressive activist blog through the lens of video games”
Started with Yuito because Kasane seemed cooler and I wanted something to look forward to on my second playthrough. The Vegetables Before Dessert Stratagem (Yuito’s fine though, the game’s fun either way).
It’s hard to imagine someone reading this entire article in a dead serious tone, and then posting a comment based on said absurd interpretation, without being completely embarrassed. And yet here we are! The human mind is something else.
Setting a new standard for all games going forward.

Having played the demo, it’s exactly that, plus all the teammate powers on top. It’s pretty cool.
Can’t wait for the lighthearted episode where Beatrix visits the cute rat people!
I disagree! Seeing so many games meet the qualifications, despite how strict they are, is genuinely interesting and seems like a good trend for more diversity in game types.
It’s a set of strict guidelines for accurate and clear data gathering within a very specific context, no one’s coming for the sports games.
“Shionne is a woman with pink hair and a curse that makes her hurt anyone she touches, while Alphen is a guy who can’t feel pain”
Let’s just say he looked a little too comfortable grabbing Garland by the throat.
A lot of gamer types have never had fun even once in their life AND never had sex even once in their life, this post is gonna kill someone.
Dude has absolutely assaulted someone, sexually or otherwise.
You telling me anime could have looked like this the whole time and chose not to?
I think it’s pretty obvious they only showed this because they felt like they had to, the footage didn’t strike me “okay, we’ve got a bunch of cool stuff ready for a big reveal!” Game doesn’t even have a title yet.
Nope, it’s got a long history but it was always the name of Metroid 5. It was never officially announced but a very open secret, and I believe someone at Nintendo eventually admitted they had been working on it but stopped.
