Ahaha! Okay okay okay confession:

1000%. I feel (almost?) hysterical comparing this to Vatican-level knowingly protecting abusers, but then again...nah. Coaches who get results are protected by USAG, period. I grew up in this shit, was competing upper level in the ‘90s for a gym housing one of these fuckers. Not only was he a complete asshole, it was

Co-sign. He perjured himself, we have the receipts, and he is “punished” by essentially benching himself for a game? No. This is not normal. We will not accept this as normal.

But THIS IS THEIR HOME *cries*

NOOOOO!!! They can’t tear down Grey Gardens!

I love colorful wedding dresses!! Peacock blue sounds like a beautiful, fun, and joyful shade  :D

This is a good question! I vote Oscar prom dress is worse. Rationale being that I could airbrush paint the wedding dress to look like an ocean or rainbow sunset or something.

If La La Land wins (anything), this will have been a Death March.

Ugh, agree. Exception: I like Emma Roberts’s dress and part of it is white. It looks comfortable, like a nightgown. The deep V is paradoxically one of my favorite “gotta get fancy” cuts to wear, and I’m a small-boober.

I wonder how many stylists are looking at the red carpet background like “fuuuuck...”. Everyone wearing white/cream/silver fades into it and looks like they are wearing Gaga-esque* structure and angles in the stills.

The Room is polarizing! I gave it + the Disaster Artist* to a friend this summer, promising her The Room was the “best worst movie ever—go in blind, read the book after!”

Oh! Seconding the inclusion of contributions by women and minorities! It still chaps my ass that they taught the “Watson and Crick model” of DNA when I was in undergrad in the early 00's. Justice for Rosalind Franklin! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosalind_Franklin

Ooooh Moulin Rouge! That movie is gorgeous and just plain fun. I should rewatch it this weekend. Come whaaaat may ;)

Oh god, Deer Hunter was heartbreaking and brilliant.

Muse has been around since ‘94 and Eminem since ‘96! Huh. I like the idea that there are possibly college kids going to see these artists with parents who listened to them ~20 years ago.

*gasp!* How deliciously diabolical/Guilty Remnant of you!

Yes! It’s like Nicole Kidman in The Hours level of nose-wrongness.

Yes! He lost almost 100lbs (so he could wear fashions for “slim boys”?) then went on Larry King to promote his ~KarlLagerfeld~ diet!

Those programs are SO NECESSARY. I was on a reduced lunch program that included free hot breakfast for any kid there by a certain time back in the late 80s/early 90s. I loved hot breakfast! Our reduced lunch program made you sign your name to a clipboard before you went through the line, but that was easy enough to

Also in fifth grade. Suzanne Joiner came up to me during lunch to tell me that “Everyone thinks you look...” (she traced a word on my desk). I didn’t understand, so she silently mouthed it. I still didn’t understand. She finally, exasperatedly announced that I “looked POOR” because I had worn the same outfit twice
