I thought this was a snore compared to previous episodes. It was 100% exposition, a lot of which we already knew.

So, Matrix-wise, hopefully going to the theater will be a lot more desirable by the end of the year. I wonder if that could be a hit even while being released on HBO.
My prediction:
It’s also similar to another reality-warping Marvel show, Legion.
Wasn’t Mama January? That one was good!
Loved the movie. It’s one of those movies where it flows along seamlessly, engaging, perfectly paced, without anything taking me out.
I gotta give it up for Onward. It’s a little slow to start, gets increasingly solid as it goes along, and then absolutely destroyed me at the end. I feel comfortable putting it in upper tier Pixar. I guess what might hurt it in some people’s eyes is the lack of their usual invention in the world-building, but I think…
I’ll defend it - I was a kid when I saw it, and it’s become something of a Christmas classic. Carrey’s Grinch (acting + costume) is iconic.
For some reason I’m thinking this happens all the time. Maybe I’m thinking of movies?
I can’t quite say that, but I would probably put Apocalypse in the next lowest spot. That one really just didn’t have anything that makes this series good.
Also those Progressive commercials with the guy who spins the sign. They’re a nice couple.
Hey, it’s Dan Decker!
Freddy’s Dead is probably the stupidest one though. They get progressively less stupid going backwards.
Tell me more!
I was initially annoyed to have two historical episodes in a row, but the second one was not bad.
I wonder if this means Andrew Garfield will be involved?
Incredible ending to the movie. This is the kind of thing I’d like an oral history for.
Firestarter is my favorite King book. It’s so tense, and the danger is so palpable, that a movie feel unnecessary. It’s already the perfect chase movie/book. I tried watching the original after I read the book, and it was a snore. All the plot points of the book without any of the excitement.
My favorite part is when they’re in the car and Adam Driver asks for his prosthetic arm and Craig in the back goes, “this one?”
This actually kind of exciting. I wonder if he’ll try to approximate the old voice or just do his own thing.
