Totally agree! But that’s a big part of what made the movie effective.

The better babysitter themed horror movie from 2017 was Better Watch Out. That movie’s great!
Update: Only the first episode is free! That was an annoying surprise. However, there’s a 7-day free trial, and maybe signing up for it now will contribute to the show’s renewal chances.
Jones also made Mute, which was an enormous misfire!
I believe it’s in free.
It’s hinted that Illyana was abused herself, so I chalked that up to that.
Does she flip back and forth between her normal life and the plantation, like it seemed from the trailer, or is she on the plantation for good once she gets there?
With Samara Weaving? I liked it, but maybe a little too heavy on the zonk for me.
I just watched Terminator 3, and you know what’s crazy? 1 hr 48 minutes! For a movie about robots?? Unbelievable.
Yeah there’s nothing this nuanced in the sequel that I can remember.
I didn’t like this one. It seemed so low-concept. I know people don’t always like when this show takes big swings, but even its minor episodes have more going on than this.
I just saw a season 21 episode with the following exchange:
Will we get to decide which turn of phrase a character uses? That’s what I’m in it for, baby!
I’m with you all the way. I loved Birds of Prey and Robbie in it.
That’s pretty funny that the sketch isn’t much more ridiculous.
I think it’s an issue of ambition. When someone makes a comedy movie about the Holocaust, you kind of expect it to be daring and have a lot to say. JoJo Rabbit isn’t that at all, but it is a cute and charming romance.
Allison Brie’s line readings at the end were so creepy/syrupy/perfect.
The first 5 minutes of Bumblebee were very cool, but I thought the rest of the movie was about as bland as any of the other ones I’ve seen; I didn’t really get the praise.
In hindsight, I wonder if they had to go a different route because Doctor Sleep was in production?
The Martin Lawrence dolphin scene in Beach Bum! Uproarious.
