I think the problem stems from the fact that they’re interconnected. If a movie came out that wasn’t a Marvel superhero but followed the same beats, I don’t think anyone would notice. But since there are over 20 of these now, it starts to feel oppressive, and even the better ones don’t quite break from the pack.

The first trailer was really something, and it actually made me think the human aspect would be compelling.

Isn’t he still way smaller than Godzilla? This Godzilla is skyscraper-sized.

I’ve gone back and forth like 8 times on whether to get this for Switch, the only console I have.

Wow I had my mouth agape for a sec thinking it was leaving Fox. 

It’ll take a TON to get me to see a zombie movie this point. Little twists aren’t enough anymore; I just get so bored by the sight of a horde of zombies now. I got like 30-40 minutes into “The Girl with All the Gifts” (which is admittedly probably before it gets good) before I had to go do something else.
