I thought you meant people were complaining that these were unrelated movies retrofitted into the Cloverfield universe, like many of the Die Hards. But the Die Hards are all about John McClane, so they feel more cohesive.

The Die Hards share the same main character and actor though.

Joe Swanberg’s “Win It All” is a great breezy comedy.

For some reason I had a recollection of Kristen doing Jameela’s, and then I realized it was from her impersonating Russell Brand in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”

That’s a good song!

The second one of these is the best. It does some interesting Back to the Future 2-style interaction with the first movie.

Marjorie Prime! I almost forgot it myself. Thoughtful and devastating and hopeful. Maybe my #1.

There’s a whole range of quality for genre action-adventure movies. They may not compete for Oscars, but there are certainly great ones and bad ones and everything in between.

I like him in a lot of stuff: Fright Night, Lobster, Killing of a Sacred Deer, 7 Psychopaths, Phonebooth.

I didn’t consider the possibility it wouldn’t be Eddie Brock. On one hand, it would make a little more sense without Spider-Man, but on the other, he’s the quintessential Venom, and the one I’d like to see the most, not knowing much about the other versions. I mean, Flash Thompson’s is just a good guy, right? That

This was my least favorite too. Definitely some funny parts, but overall I didn’t find it very satisfying. And it’s odd because this is one of the few episodes where the main characters are together.

So Jacki Weaver definitely has cancer then?

My reaction at the end was that it was the right choice for BoJack to tell Hollyhock that that feeling goes away. I get that that’s not what he believes, but it reassured her. If he tells her it never goes away, isn’t that a self-fulfilling prophecy?

She added a lot of dimension to the ditzy girl archetype. I actually thought she was one of the better people of the crew. Elliot was horrible; why would anyone be friends with him?

A couple friends recommended it to me.

BoJack is tough for its mix of emotion, animal puns, endless background gags, and recurring jokes. And also that it takes a few episodes to kick in. But all that's what makes it so perfect.

I wonder how the dark turn this season has been taking will affect its larger popularity.

Fincher's movies have a unifying darkness though, visually and in the scripts.

Should I take it off my Netflix list finally?

I'm glad. No one really wanted him not to right?
