I know everyone's talking Stewart lately, but I'd like them to get McAvoy involved too, for flashbacks and a more complex, flawed characterization. But I'm also ambivalent because this show is such a different beast from the movies, and it seems tricky to integrate these preexisting versions of the character.

Get Out was very cool, and I like it more now than right after I saw it a few weeks ago. A criticism I had was that they didn't really get at the root of the family's racism. At one point Stephen Root kind of waves it away and says he just wants the guy's eyes. Also I didn't love the comedic relief phone conversations

Well done.

Well done.

When David first meets Syd in the group therapy session, she refers to hearing "voices" and she nods over to the right of David where Lenny is sitting.

But it had the Counting Crows!

Yeah I actually found the first's incompetence decently entertaining, but the result of that is that I definitely don't care about more.

But the first film was already pretty focal to Wolverine. That person would have had to have sucked.

I thought you were just being efficient.

That didn't get reviewed here did it? I particularly enjoyed Sarah Silverman and Randall Park's duet and Andy Samberg's role.

Yup, and it was confusing cause everything else lately has indicated the opposite. Tonight's episode was kind of weak though.

Get Out was good! Ironically the comedic parts were mostly the weakest.

I just finished The Grinder today, and overall it was a disappointment. I think it was funnier in the first half of the season. Then it was just everyone saying how stupid everything was. And the big mystery was a lazy letdown. Rob Lowe was probably the most consistently good part of it though.

"I could use a solid *9 year old boys being 9 year old boys* season of South Park again."

I think the article is being unfair. Do we really need a whole (nother) South Park season about Trump? It doesn't sound that interesting to me. I'm looking forward to more stand-alone episodes. And I'm sure he'll come up occasionally.

He was funny in Ant Man. And 30 Minutes or Less.

I'm excited for Legion. It's X-men stuff with the quality of Fargo! And Aubrey Plaza!

Daddy's Home made me laugh pretty consistently throughout the movie. Nothing else to it, but that was enough.

The climactic scene in the car with the mom and the kid is amazing.

It wasn't creepy; I didn't respond right away and too much time passed and I felt weird. But what a nice thing to read, and I can assume I'm a big fan of your opinions as well!
