I saw that, and I think I remember an implication that the mushrooms were inspired by the psychedelic ones.

I…agree?
That's hilarious.
This brings to mind the Family Guy bit where Peter buys a statue of Gwyneth Paltrow and Harriet Tubman getting it on.
"That's a fire."
They're nature's mammals!
What did you guys think of Midnight Special? Walking out of the theater I told myself it was good, but I've grown less fond of it. Michael Shannon and especially Joel Edgerton put in good work, but overall it was kind of vanilla. A little more plot detail could've helped.
Yeah I like their early stuff. "This Love" is great.
I just watched Alien: Resurrection, and while it's not as smart as its predecessors, it's a fun action movie. Ripley is possibly more badass than ever with her unclear allegiances; the aliens look great (except for the last one); and there are some great set pieces like the underwater one.
For whatever reason I saw "The Sting" way later than I saw any other Futurama episode, and it blew my mind.
I can see why Take Shelter's ending clashes with the movie's subject of mental illness, but I still think it's cool, and it doesn't ruin what came before for me.
Why does cookie dough taste so much better? Is it the laziness?
99 Roof! Balloons
Mmmmm….St. Vincent.
Or their own sweaty dog dicks?
Just watched Little Shop of Horrors for the first time; Murray is sublime in it.
I agree; as something to casually watch on TV, it's fine and has a surprising amount of laughs. I got a kick out of the younger brother being such a dick to the older brother.
It was also on Family Guy first.
Lois Lane - 10
The second season is more consistent overall, but the first season has 2 or 3 episodes that I still consider the show's best.
