More EVs are sold than ICE in Norway. The argument that EVs aren’t good outside of San Diego is pretty well done. There are new reliability issues with EVs, yes, but it’s hardly fair to say that they outweigh the old ICE reliability issues.

That’s awesome!
I can confirm that electric cars are much cheaper to maintain and “fuel up”

I suppose have fun in your beautiful gasoline-soaked fantasy life

How much you want to bet they still made him wait for his boarding group number to be called before he could get on the plane?

You’re assuming all the billions didn’t result in infrastructure, supplier relationships, and institutional knowledge about EVs, or you are assuming those are easily replicated now.

Raw materials may have been stimulated due to Tesla and other demand.

Tesla still has a lead of 3 to 10 years depending on how you are

I think the only cars/company that have been that badly hacked were Chrysler. I don’t believe Teslas have been so far.

So, you could ‘hack’ human drivers by blacking out and re-painting road markings near an unlit corner on a country road? Shocker! Sell your Tesla stock!

At $35k you’re facing competition from Chevy, Nissan, Hyundai/Kia, Toyota, etc.

No one is arguing that VW isn’t heavily invested in EV development. But c’mon, we still have no idea if they can produce a competitive, profitable EV for $35k or less.  I too suspect that VW will be good at EVs.  But they have nothing on the market.  Nothing!

You’re applying sense to a nonsensical fantasy by people that don’t realize that there exist zero other EV manufacturers that can build cars PROFITABLY at Tesla’s price points.

VW is basically getting a subsidy to try to get there by not getting assfucked by the EU for dieselgate, so admittedly they may get there. But

Show me a 35K model from another company that’s available for purchase.

The Leaf? The Bolt? How well are those doing sales-wise versus the Model 3?

I don’t doubt the Porsche will eat at some sales/force Tesla to drop the price of the Model S or refresh it, but the Model S is plenty competitive, and Tesla has more brand

Prediction: The congestion charge will only just barely pay for the administration and collection of the congestion charge.

-Everyone else who knows how to actually build stuff decides to actually build similar stuff as the startup... While doing it better, higher quality, more accessible, cheaper, etc....

to be fair, when is it ever sunny in Detroitadelphia.

Only GM would be able to oversee a massive flaw that could be seen in testing

Is it the way sunlight reflects off blue hair?

This is so bogus, it is just a tax on people that have to drive in to work in lower Manhattan, you know the working poor who can not afford to live in Manhattan but do all the service work, the maids, and all the trade crafts ( construction, plumbing etc..). spin it anyway you want it will be the working “middle”

This is the important piece of information. Where is the nearest Chik-Fil-A?

but the “actual registrations” reported in Jan and Feb are off— way off last year’s drop

I’ll never own a Tesla but I’m not sure how this is different from every other car company that has the Starting at price of X amount but the dealers never seem to carry the starting base models...., ever so it’s like bait and switch anyways.  Maybe some dealer somewhere or at some expo has one but no one can actually
