I love that Leno actually drives and shows his cars.

Disc brakes and better bulbs are the first two things i do to any classic that is in my possession.
I didn’t, but would have had I planned to drive it more than just on that one trip.
I think a disc brake conversion is in the future, but for now, we just need to get this thing on the road.
Even Jay Leno, a guy who likes his cars mostly original, makes an exception when it comes to things like brakes, suspension in some cases and A/C... basically improvements to safety, durability and livability.
i used to own a 67 289.
‘56 Chevy in my mid-80's college days. Brakes just popped, like stepping on a plum. Chain link fence did the stopping. Under 25mph, thankfully. Just embarrassment damage.
My Corvair had a single-bowl brake master, but I was okay with that because it was only running on two of its six cylinders and I don’t think I could have gotten up the speed to actually hurt anything.
I heartily agree with this take. Brakes are a necessity, something that needs to be reliable, seeing as they are the only thing keeping you and a car from becoming a physics lesson.
Wow, Jalop needs more articles like this. A lot more. Bravo.
I’m becoming a better Jalop! I understood half what that article said!
The failure here is that Ford has hyped the crap out of the Bronco as a hard-core trail rig, then released the Sport significantly ahead of the full-size Bronco. The Badlands is more capable than the people actually buying it will ever use it for, except for the impatient few who are buying it only because they can’t…
It’s nothing more than a marketing and expectation issue. If Jeep had named the Renegade the “Wrangler Sport”, there would be expectations that it would be close to as capable as a full Wrangler.
Holy hell,Wes Siler. Long time no see man. Glad to hear from you again.
Great piece Patrick. I’ll refer back to this in the future.
There isn’t a downvote button but if there were I would still only be able to downvote you once.
That is a remarkably stupid idea.
I highly doubt that. Try to explain how 15 people died in an 8 people capacity SUV. Also the situation screams some type of human smuggling or bringing them to work the fields sort of speak.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
What the fuck?
