So last year was Paul Rudd, now it’s Chris Evans. That can’t be a coincidence, can it?

I would only fear that Santa if I was naughty.

....now i have a machine gun.

Ho.

welcome to the holidays, pal!

That trailer sold me quick. Harbour is on the right pitch for the performance that makes it look like a lot of fun.

‘Come down from the Pole. We’ll get together for some milk and cookies, have a few laughs.”

Hollywood is determined to do to Santa what they did to clowns.

This is real.  I mean, if you were going to make a joke trailer, this is what you would make.  But it’s real.  Right?

David Harbour as Santa is so obvious I can’t believe it’s taken this long to get there.

They choose the ‘weakest image’ to push a narrative.

Both Wilson and Weber also noted that while the prosthetics and practical makeup are incredibly advanced, there is still a lot of CGI in Rings of Power.

Good. The Hobbit movies and their dumb CGI orcs looked VASTLY inferior to the LOTR practical orcs.

I like both your points, it’s an interesting discussion. I would assume that the orcs of this era would be weaker and more akin to cannon fodder, as in the time of Morgoth the armies of evil were led by Balrogs and a Black Dragon, Sauron was zipping around as a giant Vampire bat and a literal Hell hound, so orcs were

Even if we run with that one. It would kinda speak against earlier Orcs being stronger and more capable. That they were made, in batches, through magic or whatever. They wouldn’t pop out completely perfected.

I would think orcs, being elves at one point, should also be similarly declining as time goes on.”

Man, if 18-year-old Luke is too short for a Stormtrooper...

Isn’t she a little short for a stormtrooper?

Well the hangar was full of luggage carts moving fuel cells around that could have had a tarp (or even a trenchcoat) draped on top of one.

The top, for example. That’s not a fixed roof, it’s a hardtop convertible actuated via a power switch. That was pretty much unheard of in 1957.
