They’re not running a cars and coffee. They go to the Malibu Kitchen for breakfast Sunday morning and people flock to the car celebrities.

I recently watched an episode of one of those “Million Dollar Listing” real estate shows where a guy bought literally a garage with like 1 bed room on top of it in Malibu. The “warehouse” has like space for over 100 cars I believe. Go hit that guy up. I’m sure he’d be happy to host.

Depends if Jackie Treehorn is a car guy.

I’d tread lightly if I were Leno, Seinfeld or Farah - I hear the Malibu Police Chief doesn’t mess around:

Newport Beach Cars and Coffee was forced to move and became the Irvine Cars and Coffee for this exact reason... now the Irvine location is gone too.

This is probably the biggest location you’ll find in Malibu, parking-wise. The weird thing is that there’s plenty of parking. The shopping center spans two sides of the street. There’s always parking on the other side. Even if the main lot is full, it’s a 1 min walk at best from that side.

I think that listening to the businesses and actually understanding their concerns should be the primary concern. If no one is complaining except 1, then what’s their issue and how can it be remedied?

The weird part is that the enforcement has actually caused more disruption to the businesses. People used to show up by 7:30 a.m. and leave by 9-9:30. Sone (a tiny percentage) of businesses would start opening up around 9 or so and the people visiting would patronize them. I’m not sure Starbucks is complaining, with

Unfortunately most of the cool C&C meets with cool interesting cars come from upper class areas.  NIMBY and Karen’s are rather thick in those areas.

Yeah. It takes a significant amount of self-policing and at a certain point, the show gets too big. The most successful ones I’ve seen take place in things like church parking lots where there is no interference with non-participants on a Saturday morning, or outside shops with limited parking that discourages camping

Oh, I don’t doubt it. I remember seeing a documentary or whatever it was years ago about some guy connected to Escobar who was looking into getting a decommed Russian sub for him. The Russian contact asked him if he wanted it with or without missiles.

These are only the ones we know about and/or catch. There are plenty of other types of submersibles we have probably missed, so these subs are just pure profit.

The cartels have been having these built in all different places for years and, like this one, they’re often not full submersibles since it’s much cheaper and faster to make and pilot and the low visible signature still significantly reduces the likelihood of getting caught. They aren’t cheap, but one successful load

The sub was obviously too high in the water.

It’s a magic glove box, new 50 year old parts just appear there when needed

Is there a reason that this series isn’t called “A Valiant Effort”?
