Sigh, even with more flexibility in my “yute”, I didn’t fit well. I ended up with something related though - 2006 Acura TSX 6-speed. Same tight “gearset” (not transmission - fwd) though. The 2.4 ‘only’ revs to around 7400 before the fun stops (7100 redline- oops). Vtec Yo. 170,000 miles and still strong in the right

Start here for the axle issue.

But can it keep up with my Cybertruck off-road, through car washes lakes, up hills, fending bullets. I think not!

I liked the comment but there are numerous Corvette drivers who are amateurs and track their cars on a regular basis. It’s not all New Balance, gold chains, and early bird specials.

I’m going with 200k easy. Just not having the later grrriiilllll is worth thousands. NP.

First, what’s the Buy It Now price?

His head deep in something, just not sand. Thank oG most of these types will never marry and procreate (whoaa, pretty broad brush there Steve). “I’ve met a few. Gals post warnings online about them.”

Don’t vomit or shake your fist violently at the screen but:

Someone will pay the asking, just not me. I (Pepperidge Farm) remember when these were $2500. Inflation. Still perfect for the odd weekend project, ... I. Just. Can’t. Go. There.

This one was built in this color on a Tuesday under a full moon by Chip and his buddy Howard torquing the wheels and is only 3 of 17 so festooned.

Pssst. Peter Griffin chart.

One does not pump gas into this. Others do that.

While more common now, wife and I returning from Tokyo to Chicago O’hare on a 747 back in 1983 were well over the 800 mph ground speed due to the jet stream. The pilot remarked about it a few times - especially when our redeye was couldn’t get a gate (too early) and customs and immigration hadn’t opened yet! Faster -

Not harshing you but, that V6 won’t tow much at altitude in the Denver area. Turbos are better choice up there. ND though. Too inefficient as a daily, too pricey as a weekend tow machine.

I looked/drove one of these slightly used. Scared the crap out of the owner who wasn’t a car guy and probably treated it like a base commuter car. Seats weren’t supportive enough but I had the steering wheel to hang on to :-)

LS V-8 and transmission, basic ECU, tape over the idiot lights. You should be able to plumb the heat/ac/most of the power options. Steel springs instead of the air suspension (I guessing that’s what it has). Take the W-12 out, clean it up and sell it as “ART”. Detail the car up and....

Disregarded the article, went straight to ND, sipped coffee. Now I’ll go back and read Rob’s usual scintillating write-up for a laugh or possibly a smirk. Who knows; it may be filled with $100 bills, drugs, bearer bonds?

O’hare may be the better equipped maintenance center. With unknown damage, you want to get back on the ground ASAP. A deflating tire(s) might make a good landing but be a possible disaster after a few flight hours.

Definitely been turned back from six(6) miles.

Nice Price for the guy that lusts for one of these. “Buy the best example” applies. While low miles and no visible wear; time doesn’t sleep on a number of components - almost always hidden away and/or near unobtainium. This car belong in a museum - I.J.
