Enh. Everton barely turned up for the game. Roberto Martinez is an iffy manager and his time at Everton is well into the post-Martinez-honeymoon period. Decent tactical decisions by Van Gaal this time around though, unlike his Arsenal brainwave of getting the two slowest midfielders in football to play a high pressing

MICHAEL IRONSIDE?!?!?!?

It could win awards for NSFWiness. But it’s pretty good!

When it comes to space sloths, I never expect anything. That way they cannot surprise me (very slowly).

Now playing

It’s no Battle Beyond The Stars though, is it?

I’m not sure NASA should be spending money on kepling. Do we even need to keple in space?

ohhh that is terrible. Have a star.

You should watch the hell of of Person of Interest. Go and watch it right now. There’s a really cool dog in it (after a few episodes) that isn’t even the best thing about the show.

oh man, the thighs on that skatey lady

That’s because we have more of the damn things than anybody else. Big brother’s underpaid flunky, probably in a hi-vis vest, is watching us.

oh, a mouse? How quaint.

I had a ball watching that. Good on you Didier.

More importantly why has nobody explained why Joseph Gilgun and Vincent Regan, playing Scottish brothers, have mismatched accents? They’re really good Scottish accents for non-Scottish actors, but Regan has a solid, restrained, Glasgow hardman accent, and Gilgun has a really good mental Edinburgh/Fifey schemie accent.

I might as well hanker after Kaywinnet Lee Frye. Don’t get me wrong, Jewel Staite is lovely, talented, and by all accounts personable, but Kaylee is the nicest gosh-darn spaceship mechanic in the ‘verse. Since I’ve the same zero chance of ever hooking up with either, I’ll moon after the fictional character.

Dog Soldiers was ace. Sean Pertwee and Kevin McKidd with bonus Ser Davos Seaworth, great squaddie banter, excellent directing that keeps the pace up and almost, but not quite, hides the relatively low budget practical effects werewolves.

Bernie Sanders didn’t care and didn’t try to get cute, he just answered “briefs” and moved on.

Yes. Those were some good words.

You have brought me disappointing potato salad for the last time.

Even better if you sat through BBC schools programming as a kid.

Awesomely dangerous? Dangerously awesome.
