He’s screwed, he doesn’t have creible defense.

Because there can’t be a tie, right?
They’re not even any good at being bad.
the problem is right under his nose
Yes. He’ll be in Oakland in a year. Then he’ll hit free agency, sign with St. Louis for something low like 4 years for $40M, and turn into a fucking killer third starter with a low 90's fastball. Watch.
LeBron’s Cavs did it last year...
Hot take: no NBA team can win a title with a coach who is also GM.
Or tell them, “The Cardinals play shitty baseball.”
Yup. I grew up right across the state line in WI as a big Cubs, Bears, Bulls fan. I always would cheer for the Hawks but could never watch them because they were never fucking on. Honestly most of my knowledge of the Hawks growing up was from the NHL games on Sega Genesis. It wasn’t until I moved to Florida in 2008…
I do know a lot of White Sox fans that jumped on the Cubs bandwagon after they won the WS and those people are dead to me.
Bill Wirtz made it nearly impossible to actually be a fan of the Blackhawks.
As a Blackhawks fan, I started watching in 2008-2009, a year or two after they were finally back on TV regularly. When I grew up, I’d get lucky to see a game on WGN or something, but we’d always go to Chicago Wolves games. People who liked hockey in Chicago were most likely going to Wolves games instead of…
The people in that commercial should be arrested.
ZUKKA’S THOUGHTS:
His hitting gives Cubs a lot more options. Is he a potential leadoff guy? Seems Russell is a great 5 guy and Maddon likes a 4 guy who can work a count to guarantee a run. Seems like Schwarber would be a perfect fit at 4..
They have Dexter Fowler to kick around now.
By the time the Cubs got to the playoffs last year, he may as well have gone to the plate without a bat.
Yeah, man. Nailed it. NO WAY is Heyward better than Melky Cabrera or Leury Garcia.
Wasting your time here commenting on Deadspin. You should be writing articles for Fangraphs or Baseball Prospectus.
To me, the best thing his new swing gave him was more confidence. Technically, it’s helping him get in front of balls better and drive with more velocity, but beyond that, dude just looks like he’s ready to hit every time he comes up.
Good to see the hard work paying off for Heyward.
