As an extremely heavy Twitter user, I think Threads can potentially go the distance. The main problems they need to fix are 1) adding desktop support and 2) giving you a chronological, following-only feed. I can browse Twitter at work since it’s on my computer, but I can’t browse Threads.

In theory, I think I support this ruling. There should be a formal legal or regulatory framework for empowering the govt to order sites to take down posts (which I absolutely believe is something the government should be doing).
