I went on an impromptu trip to the coast with my in-laws and had a lapse of self-control at a fish market, so tonight I made a bunch of homemade oil-packed tuna to eat ver the next few weeks.

I work until 11 tonight, so Beer, Bobs Burgers,Bed for this evening. But tomorrow I’m making pralines!! Im doing pecan, natch but also cashew because-yeah 🎄

I’m making my (or rather, Cuisine magazine’s) famous Turkey soup with tortellini! Tomorrow we’re ordering pizza, and than Christmas Eve we’ve got to go shopping and I’ll be making pear and chocolate bread pudding with chocolate sauce and manchego and potato gratin.

I actually got it for my mom but she told me to try some recipes while I had it. I made the fish and really liked it- the soup is pretty good, a nice alternative to tomato and a little spicy. I think my mom has her first cookbook or has tried it.

Haha, we pretty much ate whatever was served even if my sister was picky for a certain amount of time about how it was served so my parents tolerated it. I remember having friends that would only eat certain kinds of foods and would otherwise refuse to eat. My parents would have been like, “Fine, starve then”.
