Excellent idea. There are How-To videos for darn near everything. Washers are pretty simple machines, dryers even more so. Fixing things yourself and saving them from landfill feels great!

Nothing in life is better than a soft kit belly. My Munky will let me bury my head in his floofy tummy. I appreciate his tolerance. Kit friends who don’t mind belly touching are rare joys.

If you own your washing machine (and it’s not part of your rental, if you rent) do some research on what is wrong with it and how to fix it. There’s a good chance it’s easier to fix than you think, and far less expensive to buy and replace a part than to have it fixed (or buy a new one).

I'm excited to try!

Oh that floofy belly needs scritches!

I had exactly the opposite mental image of a lobster giving God "the claw".

If you met her in person, it would be her eyes - so big and round!

Sweet cat xx

Gimmee all the beautiful cakes! Gorgeous and no doubt delicious.

Oh dear lord I want that cake.  It brings together so many, many good things.

Shelter Cat Update!

I have one and it’s worth the money. Get it!!!

That cake is gorgeous!

I got my second shot yesterday and am waiting for the hit--my coworker said he was fine the day of, fine the next morning and then around noon WHAMMO.

I was also exhausted and nauseous after my first shot of Pfizer. Got my second 2 weeks ago and felt pretty ok after, better than the first. Just tired for a couple days but nothing else. Here's hoping for you!

Rye bread is the best.

Me too! We’re on the exact same vax schedule!

I guess it depends on your definition of “popovers.” I melt some butter in a non-stick cupcake/muffin tin, mix up some batter that is 1/3 cup milk, 1/3 cup flour, 2 eggs, and some beef bullion granules instead of salt (or you could use salt) mix it all up, but not too much. Then put a couple tablespoons of the batter

Yesterday I paid off my student loans, 5 years ahead of schedule. I’ve been making triple payments for the last 16 months.
