Oh my god those gingerbread apple crumb bars look amazing. I love all things gingerbread so they’re right up my alley. I haven’t been in a Trader Joe’s since the pandemic started and I hate it. They ALWAYS have long lines and I just can’t do it.

Avoid it as long as you can. It’s incredibly addicting. It’s really easy to lose hours just scrolling and watching video after video.

For You Page. Tiktok lets you switch between just the people you are following and the FYP which pulls public videos for you based on their (scary accurate) algorithm. Usually, if you watch someone’s videos all the way through and interact with them (like/comment) they consistently come up in your FYP.

Interesting.  She usually shows up on my FYP on a regular basis so either I didn’t read any comments or she hasn’t shown up lately and I didn’t notice. I’ve been kind of in a haze this week.

Massachusetts here and Trump got 32.5%. It really is disheartening.

That’s a fair point. I did try to make an educated decision when I voted for the school board in the city I live in last election. This was the regional vocational school and I had no idea it was even on the ballot.

I think its been a couple weeks since I posted here so I don’t think I ever showed you my apple pie. I went apple picking at the end of September and hadn’t used them so I made pie and then the rest became applesauce.

I voted on Thursday. There was no line, I was in and out in like 10 minutes. Dropped off clothes for donation and went to the bank after too. It was my most productive lunch break ever. I thought I was totally prepared but I was surprised by voting for the regional school board. I always feel kind of weird voting for…

I love plain mac and cheese and make one every year for my friendsgiving. (So sad I’m going to miss that opportunity this year.) But I’ve also made myself and had ones with mix ins that were delicious. Most things taste good in cheese sauce. But even I will say raisins in M&C is too far.

I love this movie too and always have. I adore Hocus Pocus but Practical Magic was always my fave Halloween movie. I love Nicole Kidman so this isn’t hugely surprising.

Honestly, I can’t really pinpoint anything specific. It’s been hard. It’s been about a week and a half since the “it’s bad, come say goodbye” call and there’s been lots of crying and not a lot of sleeping.

This is a good simple banana bread. I usually make muffins because I can’t control myself around banana bread.  I recently ended up with 9 overripe bananas and I tripled this recipe and made 3 different breads.  I even froze one and it was delicious a couple weeks later.
