Aaron Purr is a great cat name. Made me smile.

I am so so exhausted. My uncle passed away last week and it has been such a long week and now today we had all the services in one day so I have been awake and surrounded by people since basically 8:30 this morning. Wakes and funerals are already awful occasions but the masks really top off the awful.
Applesauce is my plan for any remaining apples once I do any baking I want.
The bread looks delicious to me! Are there seeds in it? I would sit down and eat that entire loaf and not be sorry.
I weirdly didn’t have any allergies until I was around 25 and then I just got hit with seasonal allergies. I actually asked my doctor the last time I told her if there was an issue with how long I had to take antihistamines for because it’s basically Spring to the first frost for me.
I get headaches when my allergies are acting up too. It’s the exact reason I take an anithistamine every day. I don’t really love it but it’s the only thing that works.
My mom texted me last night to ask if I was going to watch and I informed her I’d rather stab needles in my eyes. Sounds like I made the right call.
Oh, I understand now! Kinja doesn’t clearly show comment chains. So you mean the thing Cheers mentioned where you cook some and mix in fresh. Yes, definitely would be best with berries. That sounds delish!
Apple pie or blueberry pie? I’m intrigued by this idea. It sounds like it would be tasty either way.
Pumpkin pie in gingersnap crust sounds divine. I love all things pumpkin and all things ginger.
I’m not gonna lie. It was SO good. Just blueberries, lime juice and sugar for the filling but they were wild Maine blueberries so it was delicious.
I have the most problems with crust. It takes a lot of practice to know when crust is the right consistency. I used a couple tricks I learned over quarantine to get that bottom crust cooked and they really worked. (Made that pie a couple weeks ago. Don’t know why I typed beginning of quarantine instead of month. 🤦)
It’s cold here too and I was supposed to be sitting in the backyard drinking with my best friend and the fire pit she bought for my house but she went and got strep.
Sounds delicious. Chicken soup is one of my favorite foods.
I love that first picture. So pretty.
The sweater. Omg.
This is awesome. My mom did the same for me. Although I still call her 8 years later to ask how to do things...
Your grandmother sounds like an incredible person and she definitely had a very full life. I don’t like gin & tonic but my Nana did too (and martinis with lots of olives) so I’m going to find something to drink and have that in honor of yours.
