Seen plenty of monsters/aliens like this in the game. Maybe if you played the game instead of harping on about how it was two years ago, you would have found them yourself.

“Here, have this bloodthirsty murder-demon instead of a pair of tits or the curve of an ass.  We’re family-friendly now!  Fa-la-la-la!”

Here’s an image of him watching Frankenstein murder some people while a naked woman feeds him Cheetos one by one, and it captures his whole arc pretty efficiently.

I think it’s possible that your screen name is undermining your complaint, to some extent.

“Hey Bob?”

This was a fantastic read, Schreier! Thanks, as always, for bringing some of the less-discussed but still important components of the industry to light!

...and I still have that Final Fantasy IX guide. My parents bought it with the copy of IX they gave me for Christmas back in 2000. Even with my undergrad college’s T1

Dude... They went from porking to beefing...

Carrot: Hold my milk.

How then do we explain Sansa, who is thoughtful, just, and effective leader?

...Robert Baratheon landed on the throne after killing a tyrannical king...

I honestly think the best end to the story would have been that the Others - the "white walkers," sorry - had won the battle of Winterfell and the last few episodes were their march southward ending in the decimation of the human race.  That would have been haggard.

Jon and Dany should have get married, they should have destroyed Cersei back in Season 7, and Season 8 should have been all about the Night King. 1 of them dies, gets crippled, loses an arm or a leg, goes blind, something like that, Dany gets pregnant, Jon dies, Jon learns about his parents on his deathbed. Jon dies

To me, it’s more like the argument against sexualizing fictional characters in games harms people playing them, desensitizing them to harassment and such. But suggest that playing a game like MK11 might do the same thing with violence and you get argued down.

Tom Savini got to be so good at depicting dead and messed up bodies because he was in the Army and served during the Vietnam conflict. He’s said in interviews he just depicted the messed up stuff he saw.

In my job, I see children who are the victims of abuse and neglect on a daily basis. Through this work I have lost all faith in CPS and our other systems setup to protect them. To say it has had a negative impact on me physically and emotionally would be an understatement. My eye pretty much always twitches now due to

“Other people I’ve talked to have been like, ‘I know what I’m working on, I know what I’ve gotten myself into here.’ And you start to blame yourself for being shitty or weak or spineless.”

I mean, its cartoony as fuck.

Still amazes me that a nude body bothers people, but this, this shit, is acceptable.

I haven’t had this big a feeling of “Really? People take issue with this?” since that bit that was on the AV Club last year about Mulan. This isn’t quite as dumb as that was, but its up in that range.
