I thought FFXIII was kind of alright, loved XIII-2 and hated Lightning Returns as soon as I experienced the battle system. Still, I ended up watching most of the story for LR on Youtube and I did quite like the ending.

Can't be as good as the Adam Jensen 'Safety Dance':)
Ugh! That concrete gets EVERYWHERE!
I did see a car drive up in the air to get around one of those DUP checkpoints! I just put it down to a conduit at the wheel:)
Although, I do find it annoying that they spend half the article complaining about how the gameplay isn't 'next-gen enough'...which, for some reason, they haven't really bothered to do with any other game.
Thanks. Can we have our money back?
Whoa, Faith has a surname?!
Yeah, that happens to me all the time. I don't know why it annoys me so much.
I loved the open exploration of this game and the soundtrack was ridiculously good but I really, really hated the combat and this is coming from someone who loved FFXII' MMO-like structure. Also, I can vaguely remember being inundated with a totally insane number of quests and I think that bugged me, though I can't…
While this certainly isn't anywhere near the worst game I've ever bought it does claim the somewhat awkward title of "Most ridiculously popular game that can do no wrong that I just don't get."
Soundtrack was great, though:)
Oh, Two Worlds 2! I was actually enjoying that and looking forward to visiting that huge great continent you can see on the world map. Guess the joke was on me!
Articles like this are always an open invitation for people to say "Okay, what's the most popular game I don't like. I'll post that!"
Don't worry, I'm old enough to remember this stuff as well:)
I'm not sure if pixel art is anything oldschool 2D (like Starbound) or this particular art style. I'm fine with stuff like Terraria or Starbound but I've got to say I HATE this particular style (also used in Sword and Sworcery EP) with it's stick figure like graphics. I just don't get it at all.
That's why I'm careful:)
Fable 2 was so annoying for having a character that was transparently manipulating you but you couldn't say "Hold on a second! I don't trust you as far as I can throw you!!" and walk off into the sunset.
I thought Renegade in Mass Effect worked much better than most alignment systems. Sometimes I picked Renegade choices (like holding back the fleet to ensure victory but leading to the deaths of the council) because they seemed like hard but sensible choices rather a deliberate attempt to be evil. It did seem to suit…
And why is she arresting James Bond? I WANT that crossover!
ARRGGHH!!
