I love playing games on my PC and have put countless (well, about 700) hours into my ENB'd and modded Skyrim but I find it absolutely hilarious how defensive PC players get the second you mention consoles. I'm pretty damned sure that putting Morrowind into the Skyrim engine and making it look sexy is not remotely

Doesn't mean you can't appreciate it done well.

I don't think anyone is trying to say this isn't impressive (well, I'm sure some are!) but a fantastically rendered corridor is still a corridor. It all depends on what game it ended up being used in.

I do understand the appeal but I think the focus should be more interesting gameplay like in stuff such as Starbound, XCOM (the turn based one!), SR IV or State of Decay. Games are just like vaguely interactive fairground rides a lot of the time. I think the most fun I've had recently was sailing around and doing my

I think that's the problem I have with the above video; It's way closer to reality than, for example, attacking Man O'Wars with my pirate ship in AC4. I like my games either nice and escapist or boring and constructive:)

Now that's funny:)

I'm not sure that makes him any less of an asshole, just that his assholery is justified by the premise of the game.

What??? That's almost a recent game?!?

Wait, so you are saying Call of Duty wouldn't have been remotely successful if it was just on the PC because PC gamers are too good for that sort of thing?

Nice assumption. I like games on all systems, including PC. What I don't like to do is belittle everything else except PC.

Next Gen is always Current Gen on the PC. Oh, god! I sound like one of the PC Master Race arseholes. Shoot me now!

Hmmm, this generation is already seeming like it's going to be marked by obnoxious PC gamers.

I really enjoyed the new Tomb Raider but I'm slightly disappointed it wasn't the almost open world, survival focused thing they initially seemed to be describing.

It's almost guaranteed that every time I read about a game which sounds like the most awesome thing ever (see No Man's Sky) there will be a lot of comments along the lines of 'sounds boring' or 'looks generic' or 'this is just like *game vaguely related to 1 element seen in trailer*'. It's enough to make you want to

Well, all I can say is that hasn't been my experience at all. I've been having more fun with the PS4 than I had with both PS3 and the 360 at launch.

I do not get this AT ALL. AC4 is awesome, War Thunder is heaps of fun and Resogun is the most ridiculously addictive thing I've played in years. Even Killzone is alright and it's excellent "Look at what my console can do!" material...

Also, it is extremely nice to play a version of AC4 that not only looks a lot better but also runs pretty much flawlessly.

Don't agree with result therefore result must be wrong?

Really? I know a lot of confused people who think they are, then!

I can't help but think people aren't taking in to account the vast number of multi-format games as well. There are more of these than ever this generation and almost all of the ones released so far run better to a greater or lesser degree on the PS4.
