I don't hate it, I just...don't especially like it.

It is a totally pointless explanation but I can't say it bothered me. It's not like it tries to explain the Force itself, just the mechanism by which the Jedi communicate with it. I think Lucas is still under the impression that Star Wars is SF or something;)

I can't say I've ever really classed that as a mystery in the same way as that the crashed ship and space jockeys were. We always knew the rough shape of the history in Star Wars and the prequels just fleshed it out...badly!

It's not a JW show without a downward spiral into misery but that Inara idea just sounds way too unpleasant. I like Firefly but I'm somewhat glad it didn't continue.

Prometheus is the best demonstration of why the mystery is better than the explanation that I've ever seen.

I'm not sure you got the context of the comment...

That is the most awesome thing I've read this week!

That was excellent, though I think I'd rather wait and watch the whole thing.

It's amazing how many people don't actually understand what you are saying...

Aside from that fact that Brad Pitt vs. the Zombies is the best name for a film I've heard in ages!

Well, thanks for that balanced and well thought out criticism:)

Er...well...I have to say that actually looked quite good. Utterly nothing like the source material and they just should have ditched the name but...not as awful as I was expecting.

If it was done right, then I'd be all for it. I'm not sure they could manage it, though.

Now that you mention it, I was quite impressed by how much dialogue SR3 had considering the different voices. I still think you'd end with a character so vague it wouldn't be worth it, though.

Sounds cool but you wouldn't have one of the things that made Mass Effect special in the first place; A well developed and fully voiced central character who people could refer to and recognise.

Some sort of first contact scenario where we spend quite a long time planetbound before finally getting into space would be quite cool. Make space travel super mysterious and adventurous again.

Mmmmm! That sounds delicious!

I know exactly what you mean and it often bugs me too. I didn't really get that from this, though.

Well, she wasn't at the time... :)

I love that film:)
