Ok, thanks for turning me on to Endless Legend... how did I miss that? But I am disappoint that you list Civ 5 rather than the vastly superior Warlock 2. I can’t even play Civ anymore it is just so boring to me after playing Warlock.

For me it’s FFXI... man that game is crack. Even though they ruined my favourite job (BST) ... every once in awhile I get that deep hankering to play... omg... nooooooo

also... the 3ds version of sonic 2 is great. I like that it gives a level select, so I can just play through whatever level I feel like. The 3d is really well done too. They even put in a working two player mode!

I am running through super mario world on my 3ds right now. I had it on my wii u but I couldn’t get myself into it. But then I got it on 3DS and it felt so so so so right. And man, the music in the forest of illusions is amazing! (That’s where I am now)

ALSO: It is so worth it to get a 3ds, just too many fun games on it to say no to. Plus, despite the eshop not getting a lot of love these days (this release is like the first spring of last year) the virtual console makes it great for retro games.

If you like tactics games then you’ll probably really like fire emblem. Going to agree with folks generally though, if you’re new to pokemon I’d start with the ruby/sapphire remakes or X/Y

caveat - they can’t be transferred forward till sun and moon come out later this year.

Also I hope that they will also put gold and silver and crystal on the eshop, my fave gen still

Because there are millions of 3dses and 2dses out there and people buy games for them... pokemon has always held to old hardware. Heck Black and White 2 came out on DS when 3DS had been out for like a year and a half.
