Always interesting to interact with someone who looks at the exact same stuff and comes away with completely different interpretations. It sounds like you don’t care for the show much and should probably stop watching it.

In your first comment you say you can’t suspend disbelief to buy that a woman can take out a man twice her weight. That’s a general comment that would be applicable to any woman and any man, as long as the man is twice her weight.

Respect your opinion. We will continue to disagree, at least partially.

I’m just messing with you, friend. I support the one year rule as well. Honestly I’ll probably never finish Breaking Bad. My wife’s father was a school teacher, fought cancer multiple times, and died of complications from chemo. So that show triggers the shit out of her. I tried to stick with it on my own for a

Oh, they are absolutely resorting to tropes now. It’s glaringly apparent that they’ve foundered a bit without the benefit of Martin’s work to stand on. But that’s to be expected I guess. I don’t fault them (too much) for that. David and Dan are still exceptional writers.

Agreed. This sudden flash of extreme competence from Cersei is inconsistent with her character, and feels like its only happening because the Lannisters need to be winning at this stage in the story.

The Tralfamadorian analogy is exactly right. Nice!

Honestly, I thought one of the best bits of the entire episode, from a dialogue and acting perspective, was Cersei’s “why did you do that?” line to Ellaria. That was just raw pain, and Lena Headey nailed it. That brief glimpse under her armor totally explains her, and they just slid it in with no fanfare.

The thing is that it isn’t two-ish weeks from his perspective. He’s living all of history, everywhere, from every angle, every time he closes his eyes. He’s had countless lifetimes’ worth of experiences in these last few weeks. I don’t think we’re talking about mental strain or trauma here. The dude literally

Damn. Spot-on review. Couldn’t agree more with most of this. A couple additional thoughts:

Trump does not like the fact that Scaramucci has all the headlines today and Trump doesn’t.

She should have accepted the duel. How could she miss?

I’m guessing a lot of this has to do with LeBron’s insistence on being The Leader on top of being the best player. He seems to see himself as the wise, veteran father-figure taking Kyrie under his wing, whether Kyrie wants to be there or not. From his vantage point as the greatest basketball player on earth, it’s

Are we certain that Arya actually decided not to murder Ed and his melancholy men? That scene showed her realization that “Lannister soldier” does not necessarily equal “villain who must die,” sure, but I think it’s still unclear how she’s balancing those realities. Does being a decent person caught up in a war

Nest thermostats also work well with Alexa. Super convenient!

Extra helping of “eh” on this one. Sounds like its a step below the Focus RS, Golf R, Civic Type R and WRX STi by every quantifiable measure. If this is anywhere north of $25,000 (assuming it comes to the States), I don’t know why anyone would choose this over its superior competitors.

I read the headline the same way. I was all set for a “Blood Drive meets Skynet” story. And instead I got “Intro to Econ 201.”

I will watch the absolute hell out of a Michelle Rodriguez F&F spin-off movie. That is all.

Don’t feel sorry for Porzingis. I’m sure he would be very OK with the idea of playing for the not-Knicks. He’s silently praying that Phil is as dumb as he knows Phil is.

So ... I just want to be clear on this point. It’s cool for a reporter covering a boxing match to place bets on said match? That’s curious.
