The conservative predilection for voting against their own personal interests is something I have been utterly confused about my entire adult life. I understand that they have been indoctrinated into a belief system by their social circles and corporations but the sheer lack of critical thinking still astounds me. 

It never ceases to amaze me how conservatives will twist themselves in utter knots to support private healthcare even when their own experiences demonstrate it doesn’t work.
