For a daily driver, I’d take a sedan. Better gas mileage, better visibility, generally less expensive, separate enclosed cargo area for stuff i might want to keep hidden from passers-by... yeah all those things make a sedan a more practical choice for 90% of my driving needs.

Regional light rail development makes alot of sense to me, and is likely easier to execute than interstate high-speed rail.

Yes...”draining the swamp” indeed.

COTD!

Eh, it’s a Chevy Trax with a Ford grille slapped on.

Holy Hairpiece, did I need a good laugh today.

Exactly, those groups didn’t show up either. The supposed “blue wall” crumbled and the hidden Hillary coalition just disappeared.

Yep. Hillary just didn’t turn out enough supporters *for* her. She lost key voters in areas of the rust belt which Obama won in previous elections.

Serious Question in light of our new political landscape:

*This* is the video I need this morning.

Unless its in the same sentence as “empire in ruins”.

This is very strange. I mean, what are the odds? Years of no gas shortages or lines whatsoever and now in the span of 2 months, 2 major pipeline ruptures and resulting supply disruption (well, at least the chance of disruption, have to wait and see on the recent event).

Love that movie.

1st Gear: Nice to see the Chevy Cruze getting some praise. This is on my short-list of possible future daily drivers, so I look forward to seeing how the ratings hold up over the next year or so.

This was my first thought, too. Only I have never owned one. How has your ownership experience been? Are parts difficult to find?

Also, I did get the chance to go for a jaunt in my step-dad’s recently purchased 4-speed 1980 MG B this weekend. (not the exact model, but close in the pic)

Ok, so you maybe you can call me “bland” or something, but I think this would be one of my choices from that era: (something i could realistically buy)
