You can buy 1st party or 3rd party replacement plates. I'm not a fan of the white either (unfortunately my wife is), but let me tell you the official Sony black plates make it look awesome. I also bought pink and plan to buy the blue ones in the near future.

Have you looked at replacement plates? They help a bit.

This. The thing was clearly designed by an artist then handed to engineering to cram the bits into it. I feel like their design brief also was that it was going to be the centerpiece of your living room and needed to be some kind of statement piece sitting upright in all its massive glory, rather than just another box…

RECTANGLE SHAPE or at least a flat bottom for chrissakes, the current design is the worst console to physically interact with ever.

I noticed that too.  But not for DA2, but for DMC5.  If you look up a lot of the  Niko mods, many of the “beautification” mods lighten her skin if not outright make her white.

Imagine being such an asshole that you need to a mod to remove a choice for you and only you that you weren’t going to make anyway just to make yourself feel better.
