My thoughts exactly. I’d die before I let anything happen to my kids, even though they are totally pains in the buttocks many a time.

I have an 18 month old and no matter how big of a pain he is sometimes or how hard it is sometimes to be a loving Dad, I could never imagine doing this or living without him. His laugh is so damn contagious.

You talk as if they have complete control over executive pay. Good executives have other options.

From my experience, giving your time and effort to a local cause is far more rewarding than giving money. Of course, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to fly to Africa to fight poverty there in person, so why not send money globally, but donate your time locally.

We are probably the worst people in the world for giving normal people car advice. What I’d buy for myself and what I would recommend other people to buy is very different. I don’t think I’ve ever bought a car I could recommend to someone else with a clear conscience.

I love the keeping up with the Jones type. I don’t know about you, but I don’t ever look at what my neighbors/family drive and say wow I need a new car too! I couldn’t tell you what half my neighbors drive because I couldn’t care less.
