Thankfully rest mode exists on the PS5 so you don’t have to start over every time you need to put down your controller. Would putting your PC to “sleep” not effectively do the same thing?

Huh, wow. Even if we assume the 10 million are ENTIRELY gamepass people (not likely, but probably the majority), Palworld still outsold both the Diamond and Pearl remakes and Legends Arceus, and was played by more people than bought Scarlet and Violet combined.

You can always do both!

Yeah, but people don’t always get Robocop either. They just like watching a robot blow people away.

The weird thing about getting older is that every few years this movie bubbles back to the top of the cultural lexicon and there’s a whole new group of people who didn’t know it was satire

Winsor only dismissed the case against DeSantis and the Secretary of State for standing. He dismissed the case against CFTOD on the merits (with very weak reasoning, IMO).

Nearly anytime you play a game that lets you choose public servers over private, always choose private. Public servers have 0 moderation. Private servers might have bad moderation but at least it’s something.

There are downsides to a private server, but if you pick a good one you’ll come out WAY AHEAD of a public one.

The people in this comment section claiming Japanese copyright law doesn’t protect parody are really uninformed. No a wikipedia page is not a thorough source on Japanese parody law works.

Sorry but a wikipedia page is not a legitimate source for understanding something as complex as copyright law.

I’m pretty sure watching a billion dollar corporation bully a small indie studio of less than a hundred people. Will ingratiate people into liking The Pokemon Company more.

Satire doesn’t have to be good to be legal.

Copyright is automatically granted for creative works and, for companies, lasts for 95 years.

As a developer that went to art school, I find the AI future sort of terrifying and depressing. Both my own livelihood and that of my friends that stuck with art are existentially threatened.

No.  This is not the topic to try to go “but on the other hand”.  THERE IS NO OTHER HAND.  The toxicity needs to stop, end of conversation.

I see that we’re into the annual “star citizen is expensive!” article. We do this every year, when they update their “get everything” pack to include the ships and other items released over the past year.

Or, you know, just buy a $60 ship and earn your way in game. I’ve seen people earn literally everything they need

Stadia actually wasn’t a bad idea and wasn’t a bad product either. It was just terribly marketed and supported. Also, the tendency for Google to kill products led to a feedback loop of people don’t want to get invested in it for fear of them killing it, so they don’t buy into it, Google sees it failing so they pull

The article also seems to misconstrue a lot of the media it’s describing in order to make its point. It talks about “Tony Stark proudly standing in front of a backdrop that is immediately recognizable as the Middle East” as if that scene is supposed to make us feel positively about Stark and his casual attitude about

It’s great for games to have humanizing moments that add depth, and I certainly encourage that when it comes to Arab characters as well as others.

Even my local KIA dealer stopped doing that.

When Microsoft and Google pulled this stunt they refunded all of the purchase amounts. Will that be the case here? Or just sucks to be you?
