Detective Pikachu and both Sonic movies too!

Surprise, surprise. Sadly he didn’t even manage to learn enough to change his mind about twitter only needing to be “50 people”.

Twitter probably can’t get down to less than 50 LAWYERS, much less 50 employees. Even the idea of only 50 engineers is patently ridiculous. You’re going to need that many people to just

And I’m entirely fine with the choice of feeling bad about the breakdown of a machine that supplied us with actual useful information while also choosing to decry the popularity of machines that are primarily used to generate cheap, uncanny imitations of art built on the efforts of actual human artists. There’s no

So...just gonna ignore context then?

Yeah, Plunkett! If you love this one robot that gives you candy and medicine you also have to love this other one that just punches you in the balls!

Agreed. It’s too early for such bleakness. Here’s the rest of the panel.

Bold of you to assume he’d get there and land in one piece

I have really zero interest on Warhammer, but it is fascinating to see someone who loves and respects the IP get involved in such a project. Are they going to give him control? And if they do, is the source material good enough for a series? And they do and it is, is it going to be good? I may not watch it, but I hope

Jesus christ, this is the easiest thing in the world to not fuck up and it feels like every company is hell-bent on making the worst possible decisions in any given moment.

In-depth analysis of Pokemon battling is not Kotaku’s strong point. Same site that called Water/Flying one of the weakest type combinations in the game. To that point, Maushold hasn’t exactly “shaken up” competitive Pokemon, seeing 9.67% usage on Gen 9 OU teams on Showdown in November, 20th highest on the list out of

He must have fucked with rich people’s money. It’s one thing to fleece the poors, but once you steal from the investor class, the US will get you.

It’s awful

As a NFS fan (although I didn’t like the recent Ghost Games entries), I enjoy the different takes in the series. It’s one of those things that keeps the brand fresh for me over time because it’s not just “same game, new maps”, it makes it feel like a new experience. Not that they all work — I haven’t like a NFS since

Because Taylor-Joy and Day aren’t doing voices. That’s just them. So Peach is coming across as kids-movie-generic-female-badass voice #3 and Day just sounds like he’s making his own voice slightly higher pitched.

I wouldn’t say “misplaced”. He just has never done anything better than Andy in Parks & Rec, and that character was as obnoxious as he was cute. He keeps getting cast as a leading man when no one in his audience asked him to lead anything. He is just shoved down your throat.

I mean, Martinet is a professional voice actor. He’s shown he has more range than the full-bore Mario voices. Just listen to him give a panel or something. His regular speaking voice sounds more “Mario” to me than whatever Pratt is doing. I would have loved to see him do something since he clearly loves and respects

Charles Martinet has done lots of other voice roles and has quite a bit of range; the idea that he’d use his exact vocal performance from the games when the movie calls for something else is absurd. There’s little reason to believe a guy with that much talent couldn’t find a happy middle ground between “Mario voice

The thing about Charles Martinet is I don’t think his usual performance is something I’d want to sit through for 80 minutes.

Most of all, Princess Peach throwing away the trope of being a damsel in distress for being the Mushroom Kingdom’s fearless leader wielding a freaking halberd matches the fierceness Anya-Taylor Joy brings to her roles, particularly in The Northman.
