love reelblack channel- great film criticism there and lots of videos with Paul Mooney- “that stupid movie with Sandra Bullock... I just wanted him to sit on her and kill her. A great ending for me.” LMAO

Wes Anderson likes The Kinks. I like Wye Oak.

The Academy editors branch nominated it for Editing at least, but such a terrible oversight from the Documentary branch members.

Jenny Lewis preparing for her status as indie rock icon with Rilo Kiley and solo career. Kongfrontation pulling no punches.

lol a Nintendo commercial and promo for Universal Studios Hollywood too- this movie had it all

Citations Needed dunked on HGTV hard- they deserve it.

That opening minute lol-

Citations Needed podcast with Nima Shirazi and Adam Johnson- a podcast on media, power, PR, and the history of bullshit. Trump is dunked on plenty, but corporate media and party leaders also get much deserved scrutiny.

Just looked up Yellowstone cast info- wow she’s playing an Indigenous woman on that show too. Taylor Sheridan playing fast and loose with the casting between this and Wind River.

THE FLY II (1989) with Eric Stoltz. Not intended for kids but I saw it on cable and it horrified me. That poor dog :( But then also revenge on the villain in the end...

Citations Needed Podcast did a News Brief on “Hillbilly Elegy.” They are not kind lol.

Still remember him in the last episode of FIREFLY. Pretty good for a one and done guest spot. I also just realized he was the baddie in THE CROW:CITY OF ANGELS and yeah- I won’t blame him for that.

Everybody’s Favorite Bagman I believe. Love the early season episodes when I can catch them on cable.

Jeff Daniels time travels back for the climax, also stops off to grab Judd Hirsch and get some hits in on network TV and the state of late night comedy because why not?

I’m getting chills just recalling that juxtaposition.  Just as Sorkin intended.

Your brother’s in the middle of Afghanistan!

Twister 2 without Philip Seymour Hoffman singing Eric Clapton will make me cry.

Comment is definitely on point. Thanks for sharing your perspective. It made me think of this discussion I listened to about the unscientific techniques promoted in these series. They have done damage.

I never saw this but I actually associate “Send Me An Angel” with a hitchhiking montage in “The Wizard”. That came out a few years after “Rad” (in 1989), but I think “The Wizard” was more present in the video game culture and cable landscape in the 90s.

I meant at SAG last year. Mortensen and Ali noms but no ensemble nom.  Actually notable that SAG ensemble win hasn’t been matching up in recent years, with THE SHAPE OF WATER and GREEN BOOK missing noms there but still winning Picture from the Academy.
