I understand what you mean, but feel like Marvel kind of wrote themselves into a corner with that—I mean, that would be such a HUGE massive thing to have happened it only makes sense they keep talking about it. Over time it would naturally be less talk and gravitas (see 9/11 for instance).

Werewolf by Night was an absolute highlight of this phase (if it even fits in somewhere?  Very much seemed like it’s own thing).

I will always be of the opinion that Everything, Everywhere All at Once is the multiverse movie Marvel would have made if it had the balls.  Easily one of my favorite movies of the year, and took all the chances that Marvel was afraid to take (seriously, ‘red means go’?!?  WHAT A CRAZY WORLD!).  Still, no matter how

Technically correct, which is the best kind of correct.

Eh, there was smallpox like, EVERYWHERE. I know the present sucks, but still probably better than when working toilets weren’t yet a thing.

Yeah I just saw it for the second time and, while I enjoyed RiRi’s character, the armor was 1) built REALLY fast especially since 2) she was already an expert on flying it (I know she had a proto-type, but I find it hard to believe the two suits were that similar, considering the first doesn’t even have a helmet) and,

I never would have believed a guy in tight green swim trunks and wings on his feet would be awesome, but here we are.

Oh my God that Avatar trailer just reminded me of how loooong and boring the first one was.  Mostly because the trailer is long slow shots over nifty cartoons while somber music plays in the background.  You know, like 90% of the first Avatar movie.

Well since you know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, then you should also know that many of those opinions are very, very bad.

Okay, I finally got a chance to read that (came back here to find the link again) and WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. I’d heard he lost it a little bit—and was thinking maybe Dennis Miller bad, but holy shit that’s so, SO much worse. It’s so bad it makes Dennis Miller look tame. It’s not even shock, it’s just fucking sad that

I am also a child of the 80's, and I’ve landed on the idea that I would likely hate most of the celebrities out there if I got to really know them as people. Constant fame, money and wish-fulfillment can’t be good for turning someone into a decent human.

To be fair, that was the 80's M.O.

I still say the ‘apartments’ and ‘togetherments’ thing haha

Weird after just thinking of him due to the reference in the Weird Al movie. As a kid, I loved watching his act. As an adult, I was glad to have watched his act as a kid, so that I understand the myriad of references to him and his act that are still happening to this day!

Ah thank you!  I’m actually seeing it again tomorrow so I’ll definitely notice this time (it’s a ‘having several kids and working with their schedules’ thing, not a ‘omg I have to see this movie over-and-over’ thing.  I enjoyed it quite a bit, but generally one time in a theater is enough for me).

Giant internet out there and you’re in here complaining?  That seems rather silly.  Go somewhere you like! It’s easy!

I mean, probably?  I don’t follow him on twitter, though, so I can’t swear to that.

“Blink and you’ll miss it” is right, as I’ve seen the movie and don’t recall that at all. Then again, my ‘spidey sense’ isn’t up anytime there are two people of the same sex showing romantic inclinations in mass media, so it’s very likely I did see it and just didn’t give it a second-thought.

More than you thought you’d want to see....but you’ll come around.
