Nah--this was much smarter of them.  Release a new trailer, then one single badly edited trailer, then sit back and watch the nerds go nuts.  Marvel’s always been ahead of the game with their trailer doctoring.

I refuse to believe that anyone actually thinks the ‘Brazilian’ trailer is a ‘mistake’ on Marvel’s part. They were the O.G. masters of doctoring trailers to keep people from figuring things out. I have no trouble at all believing they’ve moved on to ‘badly editing’ trailers (but just the one!) so that fans will obsess

Psssht--sell out.

That kid that played Cyclops in X-Men?  Or any of the cast aside from Doogie Howser in Starship Troopers.

Have to agree that the Baron was easily the best (and grossest--though that competition was a lot closer) character in the film.

Is it longer, though?  I thought the Lynch version and this version were damn near the same length.  Though I have to admit I appreciated the slower pans through several of the scenes, just to marvel at how good it all looked (I did much the same with Blade Runner 2049--the man has vision, I’ll say that for him).

This was 100% a calculated move on Marvel’s part. I’ve never seen a company as good at controlling information as Marvel—not a chance they’d let this slip without giving it the okay. CNN’s writer tweeted it out the second he left the theater, apparently, and they’ve never let anything like that happen before. Probably

Yes!  She was fantastic in Dr Sleep (and she wasn’t bad in Mission Impossible, everyone just tends to get lost in those movies) and she is every bit as good --probably better--in this.

She was great, but for me Oscar Isaac was the standout (though honestly there wasn’t a bad performance in the bunch).

I also watched it on HBO about a month or so ago and marveled at how stunningly bad it was. I’m a Lynch fan (mostly) and had watched this and forgotten it way back on VHS but hadn’t really seen it since. After watching it I had to research the production a bit. All I remembered from my youth was that it was released

Devo’s new look just isn’t doing it for me.

Are we 100% sure these aren’t rejected costumes for the Met Gala?

I tried man, but I didn’t learn a damn thing from Halloween Kills other than Anthony Michael Hall is apparently still available to do whatever it is he does in movies, and that Michael Myers is indestructible with an inexplicably unpunchable face.

The real MVP?  Or at least worthy of an appreciative nod.

But--he’s all scarred up!  You know, like knights probably were!  Or at least to make him look less Damonish.

This is 100% the best reason I’ve heard of anyone subscribing to Peacock.  Maybe any streaming service, for that matter.

“Halloween Kills....your desire to ever see another Halloween movie!”

I’m with you in that I kind of dug the 2018 Halloween--I mean, it went full bonkers at the end and that was a good thing (that too many horror movies are afraid of doing these days) but holy crap what a terrible movie HK was.  I mean, impressively bad.  I still can’t wrap my head around what the plot was even supposed

Hi there. Long time listener, first time caller. Just a random question: would it be too difficult to link the movies to their reviews on this site? Just a thought! Thank you.  I’ll hang up and listen.

Most zoos (reputable ones, anyway) have much better living conditions than the animals normally have.  Many animals have been saved from extinction in large part because of the work and contribution of zoos.
