All the men except Jon and Jaime are dead now, right?

I did wonder how long they'd all been standing like that. It made me think of the "Naked Gun" TV series where they'd end with the freeze-frame that was obviously just them standing still…I would have loved it if after a minute or two Tyrion was all "whelp, I'm going below now since it's another month before we get

I actually rewound it to see if Ellaria was there (I was assuming I'd missed her since I did notice that some of them were Dorne ships). It was a cool shot, but it wasn't made very clear. Another second or two and they wouldn't have left the audience going "huh? how'd he get there?"—I suppose they were already

I always assume it's an ironic sort of thing, though book-Gendry was much more interesting than show-Gendry. I get it though—I feel that way about people that insisted Stannis was still alive.

Dan Bakkedahl automatically gets the line of the episode in any episode he's been in—his character is so gloriously crass that I anticipate every line out of his mouth.

It really would—I was assuming last night that it was the end. I had no idea it had been renewed until I read this review.

Oh sure—if I was hitting that then suddenly couldn't hit that anymore I'd probably throw myself out of a window too.

It's a strong point though. I actually wondered while watching this season how many of those details I'd filled in myself in past seasons since I've read all the books. This was the first season that I've ever thought "wow they jumped this ahead pretty far"

Totally forgot to mention—how awesome was it to see the Starks back in Winterfell in the opening credits?

Yeah it was brilliant—I'm just sad there's no more Margaery…

Too be fair, I don't think anyone could have accounted for that…

Seems pretty likely that Jaime is going to be the younger brother that kills her.

Yeah—Cersei would have planned on that possibility I'm sure.

That was actually a pretty good way to really turn Jaime, as the books way always seemed a little silly. Would he really get that mad that she was sleeping around so much? Or even be that surprised by it?

Agreed—that's the only way that makes sense to me as well.

I think the only really shocking thing in this episode was Tommen. I was disappointed that they made it seem like Margary had a plan earlier in the season then just blew her all up like that. It's also a bit unnerving how fast some of these characters get from point A to point B—Varys and Arya this episode though it

I would watch the shit out of a spin off focused solely on her.

That guy knows some secrets of traveling expediantly that's for sure.

Yeah—I was surprised by that, and Arya's speed across the water (though it has nothing on Varys' speed, since he got onto that boat with Dany seemingly in an hour or so).

Eh, I think it's setting it up for Dany to blow through King's Landing and up to Winterfell, get reunited with her brother and they team-up to fight the WW's—sometime during all that Varys will kill Littlefinger.
