Meh. One of my drummers was a hand double for Johnny Depp in the second Pirates of the Caribbean.

Apparently, Depp has REALLY girly hands, so that’s my bud in the hand closeup scenes, like where he is digging around in the octopus man’s face.

She did at least one very cool thing that I know of. I recorded a demo for a band called Candy Ass in early 2000...straight-up club level band with (eventually) an album on a small indie (RAFR) fronted by two gals who were a couple (Hopey and Galadriel). Kind of a queer-yet-glam-thing.

Strangely enough, I’ve spent time around both when I had no idea who they were. Kanye sent epic level douch chills down my spine. Pink was a bit bitchy (rightly tho... it was my faux pas) but enormously cool.

I still remember the news articles from the time about all of those mystery beheadings...hopefully they’ll do a Highlander season of Mindhunter. That all only happened a couple years after the Atlanta child murders, so with the gap between seasons, it could even be in the next run.

I wish they would go back to that...sure, it’d look corny to us, but it’s WEAK thinking that alien cultures would conform to whatever current fashion sensibilities are on Earth. I think it’d be great if the aliens looked distinctly out-of-step.
