Too bad no one can see me talking on my phone that is based in my car. Wait a minute, maybe that horse will be impressed.

Not much to say about this one. It's a drain pan for $5. Great deal if you need it. [Hopkins Oil Drain Pan, 10QT, $5]

The Miata market is not one based off of the book value. They are strictly determined by market value. As long as it has been cared for and kept in a nice garage and the bushings and rubber bits are in good condition I'd say that it is a fair $7500-8500 car maybe more. The truth is that it is out of the "collector"

Hey you are also forgetting the fact that Saddleback Community College, in Orange County California, just got an MRAP as well. As far as I know there has never been a violent attack at either Irvine Valley College or Saddleback (they are sister schools), yet the South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD)

since it is a race series distilled water and a water wetter of some sort would be used. Much easier to clean up. The oil on the other hand, that's another story.

The Focus looks pretty beastly with a crushed roof and torn up front end.

(Unless you're reading Jalopnik on your mobile phone. In which case, please keep reading Jalopnik, and do us a solid and share this article to Facebook when you're done.)

Why did they ruin that clip with that horrible song?

2.5RS' with an STi swap are nearer to $20k than $10. You could get a stock one for under $10 though. . .

Dodge is doing some good with this. I like this way of curtailing the dealer mark ups.

Ok, some people do indeed use slammed trucks for work and that's fine. But these chromed-out, slammed trucks are really only good for show. At least the other trucks on this list have at least some practical application.

I wish I could be there! Hopefully you drove your Miata there to be a part of the parade!

Correction: Cars not originally designed as a convertible are heavier with a drop top. But a car that was designed roofless to begin with is probably going to be lighter than the same car with a roof thrown on there. You also have to remember that a top on a Miata is not that heavy to begin with.

I think if you pitched it to Mazda like that it might just fly. . .

My dog gets upset at me if I have her in the car with the top up. . . She fucking loves going topless. a sun roof could keep her happy, but fuck adding more weight up at the top. . .

Except when it means yes.

that works if you order the car, but not if you buy it off the lot. When I did PDI's all cars and trucks had the holes drilled and plate mount riveted in per California law. I never had a pdi where it wasn't mounted. But then again I was at Lincoln and no special orders came through.

I'm sure there will be a license plate relocation kit out within a few months of it being released. I just hope they aren't dicks like Ford and make the dealer drill holes in the fascia.

So that rendering was pretty damn close to what the car is.

They used the 5 lugs on the NC as it was developed along side the RX-8 and used a large amount of suspension components from the RX-8. That being said 5 lugs are excessive for the Miata. The NC was over built because it was cheaper to produce for them.
