AFAIK, it has to be an authorized shop that installed the parts to retain warranty. More for the fact of minimizing the possibility of having to warranty a motor because the person installed the blower incorrectly. It’s more of a CYA thing for ford and it is also the price you pay for getting go fast parts that don’t

The one thing that I’d have questions about is the air springs in the rear. A while back I was considering getting one of these, there were quite a few for sale 4 years ago in my area. The problem was that all of them were beat up. Then the ones that looked nice had a bunch of stuff done to them and had over 150,000

I’m assuming that the port and direct injection is a solution for carbon build up on the valves that is common in direct injection.

But to make sure they are functional you have to use 8 sheet metal screws going directly into to the bumper cover. Don’t use 7, as it won’t be strong enough and if you use 9 it may end up breaking the tow strap or even a winch.

I drive in reverse half my day... but then again I do drive a flatbed and find it funny to weird people out by reversing than trying to be Austin Powers trying to turn around.

I’ve seen a few of those roaming around. When I first saw it I thought someone figured out a way to import a car from China....

The lightnings and HD edition F150's also had a aftercooler of the liquid-air type. So unless it is an actively cooled aftercooler akin to putting ice in the water box then this is most definitely not the first production car with a liquid-air charge cooler.

99, 5 speed. Stock tires. But really the difference between the 5sp and 6sp is negligible. The only benefits of the 6 is if you are boosted on an autocross course.

mines a 99 as well. here’s to hoping the coil pack doesn’t wipe out the precats and force an 01 header upgrade.

Maths must be off. The miata lives high up on the motorway...

The 6 speed box is worthless. You add one extra gear for the same final drive. Miatas have no true overdrive, you are cruising at 4500-5000 rpm on the freeway.

And that is what happens when your air springs blow out and you are too cheap to replace them with expedition steel springs.

I’ve seen 95 pound women break the same trim pieces on Navigators. We just replaced the piece.

If you drop a car towing it the company is paying for it. Or the insurance is. But the tow company is responsible for any damages done to the vehicle.

As long as the truck and the car stay in the same lane the car can crab. This was most likely a repo and he wanted to get away from where he hooked it so he just picked it up and left and will deal with the dolly when he’s down the road away from who he repo’d.

He didn’t desire to hear it.

Was going to say yes if you are Firestone.

Southern California freeways mostly are 65, avg. speed is around 80-85 on the left. In LA the limit is 55, avg. speed is still ~85.

I find it silly that the cities have to fork out cash for a stadium when the NFL and the team owners can just pay for it if they want one.

I tow as well. I won’t touch those things. I won’t touch stance cars without them taking the bumpers off and signing away liability for any damage that may occur. I honestly laugh when I see cars with those that I have to put on my bed.
