And it won't be coming to America like usual. . . It'd be nice if it did though.

Sell your broken cars and get a Miata. . . But make sure the baseline maintenance is done on it which isn't hard and then profit.

I would totally spend $350,000 on this truck to kit it out with portal axles and proper tires and then go make an ass out my self when all the fancy bodywork gets destroyed when it bangs on rocks, then I'd go park it in a fancy hotel all covered in mud. . .

I hate U-Hauls with a passion. I won't ever rent another shitty, broken, unroadworthy truck of theirs again. The last one I drove had a deadspot in the steering that was about a quarter lock each direction. That was a scary drive on the freeways of Southern California.

I have loved the Viper since I was a child and I will continue to love the Viper until the day I die, or I drive one and don't like it (that is highly improbable though). That being said, lets hope the dealers learned from their mistake and only keep one or two the they chose to build and let the customers order the

I wonder how that rule would affect Jay Leno and his garage which I believe is based out of a hangar at the Burbank Airport.

Precisely!

Why does Ferrari not send these cease and desist letters to Mansory??????

Maybe, maybe not. Really by the time I'll be able to afford one, the US spec models will appreciate even more than they have so really I think you'd still be better off importing one. Plus you get extra cool points for a RHD model.

the us market d90s fetch a huge premium as there was a limited supply sold here, it wouldbe cheaper to buy a run down farm truck and restore and import than getting a us spec d90.

i really want to import an old defender 90 and put the new style lights and shit on them. I have an unexplainable love for the defender 90.

While this seems like it could be an awesome car, much needs to be explained as to how he reinforced the chassis. Also the fact he is using a miata open differential is silly to me. Sure it is an unusual swap, but price is way to crackpipe for what it is. I don't think that his reasoning for going auto is fact, but

California laws that deal with engine swaps only pertain to the motor being from a newer model year and that it has all of the original motors smog equipment in tact. They have no reason to stipulate what tranny is behind the motor as it has nothing to deal with the smog equipment.

When I worked in a shop they always had me elbow deep in a tranny. . . It is just too damn funny. The jokes write themselves and it takes a while for them to get old.

Go easy on that tranny. If I remember correctly it was 3rd that gave him all sorts of trouble.

The VR-4 is a nice car, but they are too fragile. If you try to push more boost on them you start chewing up trannies, then you get a new one built and put a stronger clutch and then you blow another tranny. Don't get me wrong, I really like those cars, but they are just too damn fragile and heavy for me to really

Cobra for a 99 ACR, I approve of this trade up.

When I was a tech there were the odd cases that happened very rarely that one of my coworkers needed to take a car home to diagnose the vehicle. That may be the case here or it may not be the case. What really needs to be known is what the concern was that the customer brought the car in for was. Also that was a giant

I was starred back then too and then ended up being lumped into the gray the first time and was upset and confused and then I decided to stop participating for a long while and just stayed on oppo and then one day saw that travis was on oppo and got him to follow me for Jalopnik.
