Really all you got to do is catch one of the editors when they are participating and ask them nicely to follow you and it will generally happen. That is how I got removed from the gray last time.

What I'm taking out of this is that Steve Saleen is back at his company that he got kicked out of. . . Does this mean that SMC is gone? I am not a big fan of the Saleen cars or brand but it is interesting to hear how much of a dick people say Steve is.
There are a few examples where modified cars bring a premium, one would be a 2.5RS with a full STi drivetrain swap done by a reputable shop. But that is an example that is far and few in between.
They are called the sportsmobile if they are the conversions with the camping gear in back. But you could get a regular E 250 with the Powerstroke and 4x4 from the factory.
I'd love to have a sportmobile that was lifted and kitted out for expedition camping. I know that they are a pain in the ass to work on but you can't deny a 4x4 turbo diesel van, especially one that has a mural painted on it.
This is for you.
So you got to drive 3 laps in a 2 series and ride around for a few more? This is coming to the Bay Area soon and I was thinking of doing it, but if it would be anything like the Jaguar event I went to, I don't think it would be worth my 3 hour drive to get there. Then again it could give me the opportunity to drive…
Painted in the Q exclusive Abor Orange and sporting lots of exposed carbon fiber, things gets even more exciting inside with an Obsidian Black leather interior that features a Helix design running all over the place, inspired by the carbon molecule helix.

I've had to put 100 miles on a car before, but that was a hard to diagnose concern. It is not a usual thing to put that many miles on a car. 5 to 20 miles is more the norm with 20 being more unusual as time spent driving could be time spent making money.
No dealership would let people put 80 miles on a car joy riding around. You are looking at a minimum of being gone from the shop for 2 hours and the mileage has to be documented on the R.O. So until dude brings up the paperwork with the in and out mileage of the car I think he was just pissed and was trying to get…
Because most shops only would have an emissions dyno that is tied into the state and you have to go through lots of data entry before you can get it to spin. Also dynos are expensive and not every shop can afford to buy one.
Yeah, about driving into a shop, there have been too many instances of customers wanting to do that and crashing. When you crash in a shop you are generally going to take out a tool box and then someone else. Racking a car up and getting it in the right spot takes a decent amount of practice to get it straight and in…
Just saying I'd punch that pious Prius driver in the balls. I would just laugh at that dude and then stop filling up and drive away.
I'm pretty sure I used to see him driving a PT cruiser around back in 2004. . . It fits that he would have a PT Cruiser. . .
Yup. My old neighbor picked up a F20C off of craigslist for $500 once. The guy needed it gone or it was going in the dumpster. . . So basically my neighbor got a steal of a deal on an engine with blown ringlands if I remember correctly. Eventually he said he'll rebuild that motor to be a ridiculous turbo motor. But…
Thanks for the before photos. I'd want to check that front subframe and make sure all its mounting points are fine. But really this car is a giant crack pipe at this price. It'd be around a $20k car non salvaged but only about $10-12k with the salvaged title. Plus that dude who had the car had to have hated it to get…
Be careful with that statement, the F20C and F22C motors are some expensive motors. I can see them getting more and more expensive as the years go on. Before you say you are all right with rebuilding the motor go get a quote on how much it will cost it will make your brain hurt.
Since it is a salvage titled car the price is about $8,000 too high. Low mileage CR's start fetching around $24-26,000. So I say this AP2 is a crack pipe at that price. I'd want to see detailed photos of the damage and repair process for it to be worth it. Plus the alignment before and after specs. But it really does…
